WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We’re seeking a driven, senior-level Product Manager who thrives in ambiguity, learns quickly, and brings humility to complex technical landscapes—particularly those spanning infrastructure, platform scalability, and operational excellence, with security as a vital component. This role is central to advancing our efforts to build robust, adaptable systems that support a high-performance, global platform. The ideal candidate is technically fluent and systems-minded, understanding how core infrastructure and product capabilities—including but not limited to security—empower the broader mission of delivering a trusted, innovative Trade Desk experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Senior Product Manager on Infrastructure, you will spearhead the development and expansion of our global platform’s foundational technologies—including on-prem compute, robust storage solutions, and GPU architectures that drive high-performance workloads. Your leadership will be central to envisioning and delivering scalable infrastructure capable of supporting trillions of queries daily and powering advanced data analytics, machine learning, and media processing.

You’ll own the roadmap for modernizing our platform’s core systems, working closely with engineering and operations teams to install, optimize, and evolve on-prem environments. From architecting high-availability compute clusters to coordinating multi-tiered storage and integrating the latest GPU advancements, you’ll ensure our infrastructure meets the demands of a rapidly growing business and unlocks new capabilities for our users.

Collaboration will be key as you partner across engineering, product & business teams, and external vendors to understand technical requirements, operational challenges, and future opportunities. By translating complex infrastructure needs into actionable strategies, you’ll deliver solutions that maximize reliability, performance, and efficiency—enabling our teams to build innovative products at scale.

Success in this role means delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure that is resilient, flexible, and optimized for growth—laying the groundwork for a platform that continues to set the standard in digital advertising technology.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in infrastructure, security, or platform domains.
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Ability to define and drive long-term roadmaps for secure, scalable systems that support enterprise-grade reliability and protection.
  • Stakeholder-Centric Mindset: Experience partnering with internal teams such as engineering, product, and business to understand platform needs, translating them into impactful product capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence across all roles, and leadership.
  • Data Fluency: Comfortable interpreting telemetry, audit logs, and performance metrics to inform product decisions and improve system observability.
  • Scalable Systems Thinking: Experience designing and evolving infrastructure that supports high availability, fault tolerance, and secure multi-tenant environments.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Capable of translating technical concepts into clear, actionable narratives for executives, engineers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Bias for Action: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making trade-offs, and driving progress in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Passion for Impact: You care deeply about building systems that are not only technically sound but also trusted and relied upon by users and stakeholders.
  • Grit & Iterative Problem-Solving: You embrace complexity, test multiple approaches, and persist until you find the right solution—especially when the stakes are high.
