About the role:

As a Senior Product Manager, Insights, you will work closely with the Product & Engineering Leadership Team, customers, and other Product Managers across Tempo to define and deliver our Insights product area.

This role is responsible for transforming complex portfolio and delivery data into clear, decision-ready insights for executives, portfolio leaders, and delivery teams. You will define and execute a cohesive product strategy that ensures Insights connects seamlessly across Adaptive Planner, Roadmaps, and other Tempo solutions to create measurable customer value.

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven Product Manager with strong experience in analytics and insight-driven products. The ideal candidate has launched and scaled data-heavy products, understands AI/ML-powered insights, and can translate ambiguous customer needs into structured, defensible solutions. A strong customer-centric mindset is essential, with regular engagement to ensure we are delivering actionable, trusted insights. Experience in Portfolio Management, Work Management, or the Atlassian ecosystem is highly desirable.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and execute the long-term product strategy and roadmap for Insights, aligned with company and portfolio goals

  • Deliver actionable, decision-ready insights that help users evaluate trade-offs, identify risks, and prioritize work more effectively, enabling smarter, data-informed planning decisions

  • Identify and define new insight-driven features, recommendations, or signals that directly aid users in improving planning accuracy and strategic alignment

  • Work closely with engineering, data, and design to deliver scalable, performant analytics capabilities

  • Define success metrics, analytical frameworks, and data models that ensure insights are accurate, explainable, and trusted

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other product areas to ensure a cohesive end-to-end portfolio experience

  • Lead prioritization, trade-offs, and release planning to balance short-term customer wins with long-term platform investments

  • Establish mechanisms to measure product adoption, impact, and customer value

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of analytics or data-driven products

  • Strong experience in product lifecycle management within an Agile environment

  • Data fluent and comfortable working with complex datasets, KPIs, and performance metrics

  • Experience with AI/ML-powered insights, forecasting, or decision-support tools is a strong plus

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

Why Join Tempo?

  • Impact: Work on meaningful products that empower enterprise users and improve productivity.

  • Innovation: Be part of a culture that values creativity and innovation, with opportunities to make a real impact.
