What we would be looking for in the future when a Senior Product Manager position opens up:

About the role:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing Druva's product strategy tailored for Managed Service Providers. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will gather insights from our extensive partner base to understand the unique needs of MSPs and translate these into product features and enhancements. Your role will bridge the gap between technical solutions and business requirements, ensuring that Druva's offerings align seamlessly with the operational models of MSPs.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy Development: Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for MSP-focused solutions, ensuring alignment with Druva's overall business objectives and the evolving needs of the MSP market.​
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the MSP landscape, informing product development and positioning.​
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer success teams to gather feedback, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches and adoption among MSPs.​
  • Partner Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key MSP partners, understanding their business models and requirements to co-develop solutions that drive mutual growth.​
  • Go-to-Market Support: Collaborate with product marketing to develop compelling messaging, positioning, and collateral that resonate with MSPs and effectively communicate the value of Druva's solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success within the MSP segment, using data-driven insights to inform future strategies and improvements.​

Qualifications:

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers, particularly MSPs, and translate their needs into actionable product features.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to engage in technical discussions and understand complex concepts related to data security, backup solutions, and cloud technologies.​
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing market data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform product decisions and strategies.​
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for articulating complex ideas to diverse audiences.​

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SaaS Product Expertise: Experience in managing SaaS products and understanding of cloud architectures and deployment models.​
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the B2B SaaS industry, with a focus on channel or related ecosystem.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.​
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of B2B channel ecosystem, including business models, operational challenges, and service delivery frameworks.​

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $188,000 and $263,333/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program, including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
