Join Us To Redefine the Patient Experience

Are you ready to make a real impact? MyHealthTeam, a Swoop Company, is the largest and most engaged set of patient social networks — with 3 million monthly active users and an unstoppable mission to empower people facing chronic and rare conditions. With a 10-year track record and double-digit revenue growth, we’re still just getting started. By this time next year, we’ll have grown to 5 million monthly active users and grown revenue by over 30 percent.

If you’re a high-energy, visionary product leader who thrives on ownership and wants to change lives at scale, this is your call to action.

What you'll do

  • Own the core user journey — Lead the experience from the “habit moment” through to power-user status by designing, building, and iterating features that drive deeper engagement, retention, and community.
  • Drive personalization at scale — Be the architect behind our next-generation, personalized user experiences, leveraging data, insights, and GenAI-powered features (with full support from dedicated Capability PMs).
  • Excel across the product development lifecycle
  • Set the road map, deliver results — Define and execute a bold product strategy to boost MAU, drive user-generated content, and fuel our next phase of explosive growth.
  • Measure, learn, iterate — Set clear success metrics, monitor impact, and obsess over continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate to win — Work side-by-side with our small, high-impact builder team. Communicate and influence the broader organization, including content development and sales, to create excitement and understanding of your road map.
  • Champion user insights — Relentlessly pursue a deep understanding of user needs and champion the user experience.
  • Self-serve and experiment — You should be willing to handle your own analytics insights in Databricks, VWO experiments, or UX interviews as needed. We are a small team and that means we often flex into other skill sets.
  • Mentor and energize — As the fourth member of a tight-knit Product Team, you report directly into product leadership with two peer teammates. We want you to add new skills and perspectives. Share best practices, coach teammates, and help shape a high-performance, collaborative, and fun culture.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

30 Days

  • Master our user journey, core metrics, and growth levers.
  • Spend time digging into user needs and dogfooding the existing experience to develop a perspective of what is excellent, good, and unacceptable.

60 Days

  • Build strong relationships across the Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing teams.
  • Launch five impactful experiments or enhancements, with clear provable or disprovable success on engagement or MAU.
  • Add to team culture — Run question-of-the-day in standup or lead a craft-of-Product brown bag.

90 Days

  • Meaningfully shape the following 2Q road map with project proposals to advance MAU and user-generated content, while improving member outcomes.
  • Lead a demo of a feature at MyHealthTeam’s Coffee Talk and lead your first Product Review and shared insight at a Friday Learnings meeting.
What We’re Looking For
  • Mission alignment — You’re aligned to the mission of creating communities that connect members to the people, support, and medically approved information they need to improve their patient journey and health outcomes.
  • Proven impact — You have at least four years as a Product Manager (10+ welcome) shipping high-impact, digital consumer features at scale.
  • Strategic hustle — You see the big picture, set bold goals, and prioritize ruthlessly for maximum impact.
  • A PM from ticket to road map — You have vision and influence the road map, and you write well-specified tickets and acceptance criteria.
  • Data-driven mindset — You’re comfortable with analytics, experimentation, and making decisions fast. You can partner and push the analytic mindset forward.
  • Personalization experience — You’ve shipped personalized features before, or you’re obsessed with learning how.
  • GenAI curiosity — Experience with GenAI is a plus — interest and willingness to innovate is a must. We’ve shipped more than five user-facing features powered by GenAI and have a robust internal tool kit for enhancing our own efficiency.
  • Experimentation fluency — Familiarity with VWO or similar A/B testing is a plus.
  • Collaboration and influence — You build consensus, communicate crisply, and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • User empathy — You live and breathe user-centric design and research.
  • Industry savvy — You have a background in consumer digital products. Healthcare or community platform experience is a plus.
  • Growth mindset with zero ego — We rise and fall as a team. You rise here by lifting others.
  • Product taste and usability — You are ready to bring a perspective on beauty, ease, and delight and champion those elements of the experience to level it up for our users.

The Tools We Use

  • Jira for ticketing and project management
  • Jira Product Discovery for ideas, insights, and road map management
  • Figma for design
  • Databricks, Google Analytics/Looker, and Tableau for data exploration and dashboards

  • Workspace, a proprietary tool kit that provides access to best-in-class LLM models with extensible tools into our proprietary data, third-party resources, and additional tools for data analysis
  • “Vibe coding” tool experimentation

We believe our people are our greatest asset. Swoop fosters a culture of innovation and continuous learning, providing employees with rich opportunities for professional growth. This commitment to our team earned us the “Best Places to Work” recognition from Business Intelligence Group in 2025, based on a survey of over 100 employees. San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
