Position Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager at PointClickCare, you will own and drive the AI product roadmap for Revenue Cycle Management, starting with Billing Advisor, our AI-powered platform that identifies potential billable events for skilled nursing and senior living facilities, and extending to the next generation of AI advisors across pre-billing validation, collections, and claims workflows.

This is not a greenfield role. You are taking ownership of a product that is live with customers and heading into general availability. You will work in a complex, high-stakes domain where your product outputs directly affect whether facilities get paid and whether claims are denied. You need to be equally fluent in AI product behavior and billing workflows.

You contribute to the vision and strategy of your product area, define and own roadmaps, and drive execution and delivery of compelling value to users and customers. To succeed in this role, you combine product management experience in AI or ML-powered products with a working understanding of how AI recommendations translate into real operational outcomes for billing and RCM teams. You bring a collaborative approach to leadership, a track record of shipping AI products to production customers, and the credibility to earn the trust of both engineering teams and clinical-financial end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full product lifecycle for one or more RCM AI Products from 0-1, GA launch, and through growth. This includes managing active customers, defining adoption metrics, tracking recommendation utilization, and driving expansion.
  • Define and own the roadmap, prioritizing opportunities across billing, claims, collections, and pre-billing workflows where AI can reduce denials, surface missed revenue, and reduce manual effort.
  • Translate AI model outputs, confidence thresholds, and recommendation accuracy tradeoffs into product decisions and customer-facing feature design.
  • Define success metrics for AI products that go beyond traditional SaaS KPIs, including recommendation adoption rate, billing event capture rate, and measurable revenue impact per customer.
  • Partner with advanced technology, data science, engineering teams, and other cross-functional teams to evaluate model performance, define customer feedback loops, and close the gap between AI output quality and customer trust and adoption.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to understand current and future customer needs, including direct engagement with billing managers, RCM directors, and facility operators.
  • Understand company strategy and contribute to the multi-year RCM AI roadmap, identifying the sequence of AI advisors that maximize customer value and PointClickCare's competitive differentiation.
  • Prioritize product investments and trade-offs using data-driven analysis and good judgment to build compelling business cases and quantify return on investment.
  • Engage with UX, Engineering, Technical Writers, and other product managers using agile processes and Design Thinking to ensure concepts are valuable and feasible.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success to drive successful product launches, beta programs, and customer adoption of AI capabilities.
  • Participate in industry events and lead customer-facing and partner-facing engagements as a product expert.
  • Understand the competitive landscape for AI in RCM and healthcare billing.
  • Inspire, energize, and motivate cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software product management experience, with at least 2 years as the primary product owner of an AI or ML-powered product shipped to production customers.
  • Healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, or claims experience is required. Candidates without working knowledge of RCM workflows, payer operations, or medical billing will not be competitive for this role.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing products through beta programs and into general availability, including customer onboarding, adoption tracking, and post-launch iteration.
  • Experience defining success metrics and feedback loops for AI products, including recommendation adoption, model performance monitoring, and customer trust signals.
  • Ability to work at the intersection of domain expertise and AI product design, translating billing workflow knowledge into AI feature requirements and vice versa.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to explain AI behavior and limitations to non-technical customers and executives.
  • Solid understanding of agile practices and experience working with cross-functional teams including data science and ML engineering.
  • Experience managing SaaS products.
