About the Role:

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager, Search to lead strategy and execution for Tubi’s Search experience and foundational search capabilities. With a library of 300,000+ titles, this role is central to how viewers discover content with intent, whether they arrive with a specific title in mind or have a broader mood or genre in mind.

You will own key parts of the end-to-end Search experience, spanning the core search interface and the underlying capabilities that power it, including query understanding, semantic retrieval, ranking and re-ranking, result organization, autocomplete, and conversational search foundations. You’ll work closely with engineering, machine learning, design, data science, and cross-functional partners to make search faster, smarter, and more useful for millions of viewers.

If you’re passionate about building consumer search products, partnering closely with technical teams, and using data and experimentation to improve discovery, this is the role for you.

This is a {{hybrid}} role based out of our {{San Francisco}} office.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and drive the product roadmap for Search, aligning near-term execution with Tubi’s broader discovery, engagement, and retention strategy.
  • Own the core end-to-end Search experience including query entry, results, refinement, and conversational search interactions.
  • Partner with cross-function teams including ML, engineering, data science, and design, to improve foundational search capabilities and deliver intuitive, high-quality discovery experiences.
  • Enhance search relevance and effectiveness across a variety of user needs, from precise lookups to more exploratory discovery journeys.
  • Lead experimentation to improve search quality and user outcomes, using A/B testing, behavioral analysis, and qualitative insights to iterate quickly.
  • Collaborate with broader teams to ensure Search capabilities can be extended effectively across surfaces and use cases.
  • Champion the user by deeply understanding viewer intent, search pain points, and moments where Search can better guide users to the right content.
  • Drive high-quality cross-functional execution, ensuring teams stay aligned on goals, tradeoffs, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Your Background:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with meaningful experience in consumer products, search, discovery, recommendations, or other relevance-driven systems.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of search and discovery concepts such as retrieval, ranking, relevance, query intent, autocomplete, filtering, or content organization.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering, data science, and/or machine learning teams on technical products or algorithmically driven user experiences.
  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills, including defining metrics, structuring A/B tests, and translating results into product decisions.
  • Ability to balance technical constraints, user needs, and business goals in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around a clear plan.
  • Passion for building consumer experiences that are intuitive, useful, and grounded in real user behavior.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to align technical and non-technical teams around a clear vision.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in streaming media, social media, or consumer entertainment products is a plus.
