Senior Product Manager, Strategic Initiatives

POSITION LOCATION
New York, NY
A Hybrid schedule of both Remote and In-Office days is required. In office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST.

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Product Manager, Strategic Initiatives, you will own and lead some of CareScout's highest-priority initiatives, tackling complex business and customer challenges that span products, teams, and organizational boundaries. Unlike traditional product management roles focused on a specific product area, this position is designed to provide focused leadership on strategic efforts that require cross-functional coordination, executive visibility, and significant problem-solving.
You will partner with leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Clinical Operations, Care Advocacy, Analytics, Marketing, and Business Operations to identify opportunities, define product strategy, and drive execution. From discovery and business case development through launch and measurement, you will be accountable for achieving measurable outcomes and business impact, not simply delivering product features or project milestones.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing long-term strategy, analyzing data, conducting customer research, and rolling up their sleeves to define requirements alongside development teams. They thrive in ambiguous environments, quickly build context across domains, and use influence, collaboration, and strong execution skills to drive initiatives forward.

What you will be doing

  • Lead product initiatives from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization, owning outcomes rather than just delivery.
  • Define product vision, strategy, success metrics, requirements, and roadmaps for key business and customer experiences.
  • Partners with Engineering, Design, Clinical Operations, Care Advocacy, Analytics, Marketing, and Business Operations to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Leverage customer research, market insights, and data analysis to inform product decisions and uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment, manage complex dependencies, and balance short-term execution with long-term strategic goals.
  • Measure product performance, evaluate impact against defined KPIs, and continuously iterate to improve customer and business outcomes.
  • Communicate product strategy, tradeoffs, and results effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership while serving as the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 +years of product management experience, or equivalent experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives from problem definition through execution and measurement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience using data to drive outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and build alignment without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience in healthcare, aging services, insurance, digital health, marketplace platforms, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives that span multiple products, teams, or business functions.
  • Experience with customer research, product discovery, experimentation, and KPI development.
  • Experience presenting recommendations, tradeoffs, and business cases to senior leadership.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.

Compensation

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

NYC Range: $135,100 - $209,000

Disclaimer: This role will be located in New York City. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a 15% bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
