About Humble Robotics

Working at Humble Robotics means taking on the biggest change in ground transportation in decades. We’re building an autonomous, zero-emissions hauler that dramatically lowers the cost of freight with groundbreaking vision-based AI, designed for today’s global logistics network.

We’re a fast-moving, close-knit team of AV industry veterans and innovative thinkers. We don’t believe culture can be engineered – but when it falls into place, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Progress has never felt so present.

Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager partners closely with autonomy, hardware, embedded software, data platform, and operations teams to turn ambiguous needs into clear requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and shipped capabilities that accelerate the entire company. This role leads our product planning and owns the roadmap across portions of Humble's products, from autonomous vehicles and charging infrastructure to internal needs such as operational tooling and data collection. Just as importantly, this role stays hands-on, helping the team execute by translating strategy into detailed product specifications that engineering can build against. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving hardware startup and moves fluidly between big-picture direction and hands-on detail.

Key Responsibilities

    • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across elements of our products, such as autonomous vehicles, charging infrastructure, and data collection.
    • Translate the needs of autonomy, engineering, and operations teams into clear requirements, specifications, and prioritized backlogs.
    • Write detailed product specifications and requirements that engineering can build against, and stay engaged through execution.
    • Partner with hardware, embedded software, and platform teams to define and ship capabilities across the vehicle and charging systems.
    • Prioritize across competing requests, making clear trade-off decisions on scope, timeline, and resourcing with engineering and program leads.
    • Define and track success metrics for your product areas, and report progress to leadership.
    • Balance product performance against cost, complexity, and timeline when making decisions.
    • Coordinate cross-functional planning and alignment from early concept through deployment and field support.
    • Ensure products meet safety, privacy, and compliance requirements across all deployments.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
    • 7+ years of product management experience, including senior, end-to-end ownership of a product area.
    • Demonstrated experience shipping complex technical products spanning hardware and/or software.
    • Strong technical fluency, sufficient to partner credibly with engineering on complex systems.
    • Experience translating ambiguous, cross-functional needs into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills with a track record of defining and using metrics to drive product decisions.
    • Eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
    • Experience in the autonomous vehicle, robotics, automotive, or EV/charging industry.
    • Experience managing products that span both hardware and software.
    • Familiarity with vehicle systems, sensors, or telemetry.
    • Experience with charging infrastructure, battery, or energy systems.
    • Experience with data collection, data pipelines, or ML data workflows.
    • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams from early concept through deployment.
    • Experience with data privacy and compliance in a regulated or safety-critical context.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or early-stage product development environment.

Compensation

This role is eligible for base salary + benefits + equity compensation. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
