Our platform is designed with ease and efficiency in mind. We take care of all the behind-the-scenes tasks, from automating banking, ensuring compliance, handling contracts, managing taxes, to streamlining reporting. This leaves investors the freedom to concentrate on what matters most: making valuable deals and nurturing meaningful relationships.

Join us at Sydecar, as we lead the charge in revolutionizing private investing.

The Role

We're hiring a Senior IC Product Manager to own a core product area at Sydecar. You'll work across the experiences used by our customers (deal leads and investors) and the internal teams that support them, with broad ownership over the workflows that make our platform reliable, trustworthy, and easy to use.

This is a high-impact role for a PM who thrives on complex systems, moves quickly with strong judgment, and wants broad ownership across critical product surfaces in a regulated environment.

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York City with in-office attendance of two days per week.

What You’ll Do

Own High-Leverage Product Areas

  • In collaboration with design and engineering, you'll own one or more of our core product areas, spanning both customer-facing experiences and the internal systems that support a complex, regulated business.

  • Manage a dedicated team roadmap by driving discussion and alignment relative to prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic goals.

  • Model and shape a best in class product development process, from ideation, to validation, to launch, and post-launch analysis.

  • Strengthen your understanding of the fintech industry, private market landscape, and competitive trends to ensure our products remain a leader in our space.

  • Conduct market research and collect customer feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for future product development efforts.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including C-suite executives and clients, by effectively communicating and aligning on product strategies, prioritization, and ensure all stakeholders understand the roadmap and its rationale.

  • Build products that balance accuracy, trust, and usability across complex, multi-step workflows

  • Treat complex, systems-heavy experiences as first-class product areas.

Drive Strategy Through Execution

  • Define clear product direction, priorities, and roadmaps for complex product areas

  • Break down ambiguous problems into clear, executable plans

  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs that balance speed, quality, and regulatory constraints

  • Deliver products that create meaningful customer and business impact

Build in a Regulated Environment

  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Support, and Operations to understand requirements and constraints

  • Translate regulatory and operational needs into durable, user-centered product solutions

  • Ensure products are accurate, auditable, and trustworthy without sacrificing clarity or usability

Data-Driven, Detail-Oriented Decision Making

  • Define success metrics and use data to guide prioritization and iteration

  • Maintain a high bar for detail across workflows, edge cases, and documentation

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate complex processes

  • Clearly document product behavior and decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with ownership of complex or systems-heavy products

    • Additional years of experience and scope expected for Staff level.

  • Senior level judgment, with the ability to operate independently and drive large or multiple product areas.

  • For Staff-level candidates: a track record of driving product strategy across multiple teams or areas, mentoring other PMs, and influencing org-level direction.

  • Proven ability to deliver outsized impact by moving quickly and thoughtfully

  • Experience in regulated industries (capital markets, fintech, financial services, healthcare) required, with a background in private markets and alternative investments a plus

  • Strong systems thinker with end-to-end ownership mindset

  • Highly data-driven, with strong attention to detail and documentation

  • Creative problem solver comfortable operating in ambiguity

  • Experience in fast-moving or early-stage environments a plus

  • Experience with agentic AI and workflow automation a plus

Sydecar’s values

Our values are important to the way we live and work at Sydecar. They guide our priorities, behaviors and interactions.

Be Committed

As a team, we rise to meet challenges and recognize that we become stronger and develop character when facing adversity.

Be Excellent

We measure our success not just by what we achieve, but by how we achieve it—through integrity, creativity, elegance, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Excellence is not just doing things well—it's looking for ways to do them better.

Be Humble

Humility is our key to personal and professional growth. We appreciate that great ideas can come from anywhere, regardless of seniority, pedigree, or experience. We care more about collective outcomes than who gets credit or who does what. We try to not let our ego cloud our judgment.

Win Together

Winning is no accident. It is the result of collective hard work, perseverance, sacrifice, and most of all, loving what we do. Winning requires that we give extra—sometimes winning calls for late nights or extra effort, and we show up for clients and each other with urgency and heart. While excellence is a journey, winning is a destination.
