THE OPPORTUNITY:
MHN is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of back-office healthcare technology that supports billing, coding, and revenue cycle management. This role is focused on technical product management and is ideal for a seasoned product leader operating as a high-impact individual contributor.
This role will own complex, full-stack product initiatives and integrations with payer and provider systems. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare financial operations and is comfortable partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

- Remote/Hybrid Schedule: This role follows a remote or hybrid work model. Candidates within 50 miles of Chicago are expected to work onsite two days per week (Monday and Tuesday) and remotely three days per week. Candidates outside of the 50-mile radius are eligible for fully remote work.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
- Own the product roadmap for MHN’s back-office and revenue cycle technology
- Lead full-stack product initiatives spanning billing, coding, claims, and revenue cycle workflows
- Translate complex healthcare financial and operational requirements into clear, actionable product requirements
- Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements
- Partner closely with engineering on architecture-aware decisions, tradeoffs, and sequencing of work
- Work extensively with claims data and EDI transactions to support payer and provider integrations
- Ensure product solutions support accurate, compliant, and efficient financial aspects of billing and reimbursement
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, data, compliance, and clinical teams
- Balance scalability, performance, data integrity, and regulatory requirements in all product decisions
- Use data, metrics, and customer feedback to continuously improve product performance and outcomes
- Act as a senior product thought partner, influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of product management experience, with multiple years operating in a senior-level role
- Strong healthcare technology background with hands-on experience in billing, coding, and revenue cycle management
- Proven experience delivering products that support claims processing and payer interactions
- Technical product management experience working on full-stack systems
- Proficiency with claims and EDI data and how they flow through healthcare financial systems
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in value-based care, Medicaid, or safety-net healthcare environments a plus
- Familiarity with clearinghouses, payer systems, and reimbursement models
