TITLESenior Product Manager 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

The Senior Product Manager at Duck Creek Technologies owns the strategy, definition, and delivery of software products within a complex, customer‑driven SaaS environment. You will translate market and customer needs into clear product requirements, guide prioritization decisions, and partner closely with Engineering and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑time releases. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Define and prioritize product requirements, manage the product backlog, and track market and customer demand 

  • Create product artifacts such as use cases, business scenarios, and user personas to support development and delivery 

  • Own product release planning and execution in partnership with Engineering and the Principal Product Manager 

  • Serve as a product subject‑matter expert across the organization and support training, documentation, and enablement needs 

  • Represent the product directly with customers and stakeholders, including presenting product vision and direction when needed 

  • Anticipate customer needs, monitor market trends, and influence product strategy accordingly 

  • Lead and influence cross‑functional teams, operating independently in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment 

 

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:  

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree and/or equivalent experience relevant to functional area 

  • 6+ years of product management experience 

  • Proven success launching and managing software products in a SaaS environment 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS: 

  • Experience in insurance technology, P&C insurance, InsurTech, or FinTech preferred 

  • Strong understanding of SaaS and PaaS architectures and the software development lifecycle with the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into scalable product strategy and business outcomes 

  • Working knowledge of AI concepts and their strategic and practical application to product innovation and automation 

  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product management tools 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into product insights and decisions 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority 

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality 

  • Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences 

 

WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW:  

Travel: 0-10% travel 

Location: Remote US 

Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of job location. The Company does not sponsor visa petitions for this position. 

Actual compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location, where permitted by law. 

For reference, the expected salary range for this position is generally positioned as follows based on candidate location: 

  • 153,900 – 219,800: Candidates living in the Boston, New York City–Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, or Washington, DC metropolitan areas 

  • 146,700 – 209,500: Candidates living in Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Minneapolis, or Philadelphia metropolitan areas, or in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island, or Vermont 

  • 139,400 – 199,100: Candidates living in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Oregon, or Wisconsin 

  • 123,400 – 192,900: For all other U.S. locations 

This position is also eligible for annual bonus compensation, subject to plan terms and individual eligibility. 

Final compensation will be determined based on the factors outlined above and in accordance with applicable law.
