We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our Digital Ocean Kubernetes (DOKS) offering. This is a key role where you’ll work on building and scaling cloud-native platforms that enable developers to rapidly deploy and manage applications with ease, flexibility, and security.You will collaborate with other high-energy Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Customer Success teams to deliver an intuitive, highly scalable platform that empowers our developer community.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead the vision and strategy for the DOKS product, ensuring it aligns with the broader company objectives and meets the evolving needs of developers.
  • Build a prioritized product roadmap that focuses on scalability, performance, security and developer experience.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their pain points and identify areas for innovation in the Kubernetes landscape.
  • Use these insights to create and improve platform features that delight our users.
  • Evangelize the product via Blogs and conferences.
  • Work across the organization—including product marketing, sales, engineering, and leadership- to influence and ensure alignment on product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Actively lead product management efforts through all phases of the product lifecycle—strategic planning, defining scope and objectives, key result tracking, and driving the execution of the roadmap.
  • Ensure successful launches and continuous improvements.Support executive leadership with clear roadmap prioritization, development of business cases, and data-driven proposals.
  • Present business cases that simplify decision-making and maximize impact on both product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Contribute towards Product Management best practices, improve consistency, and accelerate delivery cadence.
What We’ll Expect From You:
  • Strong technical expertise in cloud-native technologies, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), GPU and AI infrastructure, microservices, and DevOps practices.
  • You understand how these enable developers to build, deploy, and scale applications efficiently.
  • A deep understanding of customer needs in the developer and Kubernetes space, including AI inference requirements on Kubernetes, with experience creating and delivering solutions that improve developer productivity and experience.
  • Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous requirements and develop clear, actionable product strategies.
  • Solid understanding of billing meters, financial modeling and business case development.
  • Experience analyzing P&L data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, agile product development environments.
  • You’re comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining a clear focus on key product goals and deliverables.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business field such as Computer Science and Engineering.
Compensation Range: 
  • $131,200 - $164,000

  • We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
