About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join Joist AI and become a vital bridge between our product and go-to-market teams. In this role, you'll be embedded directly in the Product teams to help shape the strategy to drive business objectives. You’ll translate complex innovation into compelling narratives that champion the customer and focus on value to make a real impact on the business.

As a core member of our marketing team, you'll work hand-in-hand with Product Management to shape how we bring new features to market, ensure our teams are armed with the knowledge they need to succeed, and empower customers to adopt and grow with our product. You'll be the "eyes and ears" of GTM—making sure everyone knows what is being built, when, and why it matters–and the “megaphone” for the PM team, making sure that we maximize product investments for the business.

What You'll DoCore Responsibilities

Product Expertise & Collaboration

  • Reinforce product-market fit through daily collaboration with Product Managers on new features and enhancements, in partnership with PMM leadership & marketing peers

  • Become the master product SME for the GTM organization, deeply understanding PM goals, priorities, and challenges

  • Serve as the connective tissue between product development and go-to-market execution

Launch Excellence

  • Own the product launch process from planning through execution, driving cross-functional alignment and accountability

  • Create predictable, scalable feature launches that generate excitement internally and drive market differentiation

  • Partner with Product Management on discovery & pilot programs that validate feature value and gather early feedback

Messaging & Enablement

  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning for new features that clearly articulate value to technical and non-technical audiences alike

  • Ensure product knowledge is shared broadly across the organization through clear, accessible documentation

  • Partner with marketing peers to design and deliver enablement programs for Sales and Customer Success teams

  • Collaborate with Sales on demo flow design and updates that showcase product value

  • Develop and manage a process for ensuring all messaging, enablement, and other market-facing content is always up-to-date

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Product, CS, and Marketing to drive adoption of new and existing capabilities

  • Work closely with Product and Product Design teams on UX iterations, bringing the customer and market perspective

  • Maintain a Voice of Customer program to inform product and messaging strategy

  • Help translate competitive intelligence and market insights back to Product teams

What Success Looks Like
  • Launch Excellence: Predictable, scalable feature launches that consistently generate excitement among internal teams and customers while driving clear market differentiation

  • Product Adoption: New features achieve strong adoption rates, demonstrating clear value delivery

  • Customer Impact: Contributions to improved renewal rates and expansion opportunities through better product understanding and positioning

  • Team Enablement: GTM teams are confident, well-informed product advocates who can articulate value clearly

Who You AreRequired Experience & Skills
  • 5-7 years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS or related go-to-market roles

  • Technical Collaboration: Proven experience working directly with technical teams, especially those building AI agents or complex technical products

  • Launch Track Record: Prior experience running cross-functional product launches from planning through execution

  • Exceptional Communication: Strong storytelling and writing skills with the ability to craft product marketing copy that drives differentiation, establishes voice, and clearly articulates value

  • Product Intuition: Natural ability to identify what drives value and to design a strategy and story that non-technical teams can understand and sell

  • Deep Product Partnership: Ability to become "mind-melded" with Product Managers, understanding their goals, priorities, risks, and what makes them tick

  • Collaboration Excellence: Skilled at framing product expertise into clear documentation and seamless hand-offs, particularly when enabling distributed teams

  • Customer-Centric: Deep customer obsession and empathy that informs all messaging and positioning decisions

  • Maker Mentality: Just as excited about creating the product as the Product Managers are—you find joy in the building process

  • Organizational Excellence: Highly organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to documenting everything clearly and accessibly

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior work experience in martech, sales tech, enablement tech, or revenue operations companies

  • Experience thriving in a small, early-stage startup environment where you've worn multiple hats and moved quickly; or experience in a larger SaaS environment where you owned PMM for a full product lifecycle end-to-end or a full strategic product area

  • Understanding of how technical products are adopted and used in the field

Location & Work Requirements
  • Based in India with the ability to collaborate in real-time with US-based teams (overlap with East Coast mornings, approximately 8am-12pm EST)

Why This Role Matters

You'll be joining at a formative stage where your work will directly shape how we bring products to market and how our teams understand and sell our value. The messaging foundations you build, the processes you establish, and the partnerships you forge will scale with us as we grow. If you're energized by the opportunity to be a maker, a bridge-builder, and a storyteller all at once—and you thrive in the dynamic environment of an early-stage startup—we'd love to hear from you.

This role offers the opportunity to make an outsized impact on our go-to-market success while working with cutting-edge technology and a passionate, collaborative team.
