About Dash0

Join Dash0 and help us define the future of observability. We are OpenTelemetry-native, building a delightful, simple, and AI-centric platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and meaningless toil. Shape a product that developers love—all with transparent pricing and cost-control built in.

The Opportunity

Dash0 is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to sit at the intersection of product and market. You'll work closely with the product team, translating what we build into compelling narratives that resonate with developers, SREs, and technical decision-makers.

This role is part of the Product Marketing & Developer Relations team, which owns Dash0's global messaging and content engine. You'll focus on product positioning and storytelling, working within and contributing to the broader messaging strategy. We're not looking for someone to run the traditional PMM playbook — we're looking for someone who wants to rewrite it.

What You'll Do

  • Own product positioning and messaging — crafting how we talk about what we build across all channels and collateral, including sales decks, pitch decks, product presentations, the website, blogs, and changelogs.

  • Contribute to and shape Dash0's broader messaging framework as part of the Product Marketing & Developer Relations team.

  • Assimilate into the product team. Participate in product discussions, roadmap planning, and customer meetings to stay ahead of what's coming and shape how it's communicated.

  • Develop and maintain deep competitive intelligence. Understand how competitors message and position, where we differentiate, and how to make that differentiation clear and compelling.

  • Own the GTM motion for product launches — from messaging and positioning to enablement materials and launch execution for new products and major feature releases.

  • Experiment. Test new ways to communicate product value, try unconventional formats, and iterate fast.

  • Own and report on product marketing KPIs — win rates, content engagement, launch adoption, and pipeline influence.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, with demonstrated senior-level ownership and strategic impact.

  • Experience in or genuine passion for the observability, monitoring, or broader DevOps/infrastructure space. You understand — or are eager to deeply learn — the buyer, the ecosystem, and the competitive landscape.

  • Startup experience or mindset. You thrive in environments where you build the playbook, not just run it — and you're excited by ambiguity, not paralyzed by it.

  • Demonstrated ability to own and produce a wide variety of assets: websites, blogs, changelogs, sales decks, pitch decks, and product presentations.

  • Strong competitive analysis skills — you know how to dissect competitor positioning and turn it into actionable differentiation.

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability. You can translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and business audiences.

  • Data-driven mindset. You define success metrics for your work and use data to iterate on what's working and what's not.

Nice to Have

  • A technical background — former developer, SRE, platform engineer, or operator.

  • Product management background or experience — you've sat on the other side of the PMM-product relationship.

  • Experience with open-source or open-standards ecosystems, particularly OpenTelemetry or CNCF projects.

  • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment.

Why Dash0

This is a unique opportunity to help build a generational company. Dash0 is backed by top-tier investors including Balderton Capital, Accel and Cherry Ventures and led by a founding team with decades of experience in observability. We're in the middle of a massive growth phase after our Series B — and we're just getting started.

If you're looking for a place where a great product meets great people, where momentum is real and your impact is visible from day one — this is it.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary & meaningful equity participation — you'll own part of what you're building

  • Flexible, remote-first work environment with offices in New York, Amsterdam, and Munich

  • €60/month phone & internet allowance

  • Location-specific benefits

  • Collaborative, fast-moving team culture with a builder mindset

  • Clear path for career growth and development

  • Direct access to founders and leadership
