Position Description

IBusiness Funding is the Fintech arm of publicly traded Ready Capital Corporation, located in sunny Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

 

We build software that is used by internal staff, external partners and our software clients. Our platforms help business gain access to capital in fast frictionless ways. The iBusiness Funding Product department is looking for a technical project manager (Product Owner) to lead a team of software engineers.

*This role is open only to candidates currently located in the United States and legally authorized to work here.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Plan, define and prioritize the product backlog and product roadmap
  • Clarify requirements and make timely decisions on execution details
  • Work with stakeholders to evaluate best the approach when solving business problems
  • Maintain development and production environments and properly deploy changes
  • Establish timelines and product benchmarks, holds team accountable to deadlines
  • Conduct daily standup meetings with Development team
  • Coach developers to achieve high performance


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5+ years in product management role
  • Thrive in an agile, fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Deep understanding of OOP and experience with at least two OOP languages (Apex, Java, Javascript, Python)
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and Ajax
  • Solid knowledge of Database technologies such as MySQL, SQL, and relational database schema design and development
  • Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Python, Java, JUnit, Selenium
  • Exposure to Salesforce.com and or AWS cloud services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team focused
  • Extremely detailed oriented



The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. iBusiness Funding provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
