Company Overview

Most companies don't end in acquisition — they end in closure. Yet shutdown has never been given the same rigor, clarity, or professionalism as the moments that came before it. Nearly 4 million companies shut down every year, creating a massive, overlooked market. SimpleClosure is building the infrastructure to change that.

Having raised over $20M from leading VCs and trusted by more than 7,000 companies to date, we streamline the entire business dissolution process — from legal and tax to operational and administrative — as one coordinated effort instead of a patchwork of disconnected steps. We take it a step further by connecting founders with buyers for their remaining assets, so they can realize value that would otherwise be lost.

Joining SimpleClosure means helping define an entirely new category, solving complex, high-impact problems, and building the products and processes that support founders through one of the most important moments in a company's journey.

Job Overview

We're looking for a Senior Product Partnerships Manager to own and scale SimpleClosure's partner ecosystem. This is one of the highest-leverage roles at the company: you'll identify, structure, and close major partnerships that have the potential to inflect our growth curve and reshape our entire revenue trajectory.

This person builds deep, integrated relationships — not a traditional channel or referral partnerships role, but one focused on high-impact deals that embed SimpleClosure into the products and platforms founders already rely on. Done right, these partnerships unlock durable recurring revenue and cement SimpleClosure as an essential part of the founder journey, from startup to shutdown.

You'll operate cross-functionally at the highest level, working directly with the CEO and partnering closely with R&D and GTM to identify, structure, and execute strategic partnerships with technology platforms, financial services, and ecosystems that touch founders at key inflection points.

*Ideal candidates MUST be located in New York City, San Francisco, or Los Angeles metro areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across key technology platforms, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.

  • Represent SimpleClosure as a trusted, high-value partner that helps others better serve founders.

  • Lead commercial negotiations to create win-win partnerships that incentivize adoption and drive mutual success.

  • Ensure SimpleClosure is seamlessly embedded into partner workflows and customer experiences.

  • Work hand-in-hand with Product, GTM, and Operations to scope, prioritize, and execute integrations that create measurable impact.

  • Use customer and partner data signals to continuously optimize how partnerships deliver value.

  • Adhere to a clear, data-informed strategy for identifying and prioritizing strategic product partnerships that drive recurring revenue and scalable growth.

  • Evaluate potential integrations and partnership models, ensuring strong alignment with product and business goals.

  • Define and track key partnership KPIs, including revenue contribution, adoption metrics, and customer experience improvements.

  • Continuously refine the partnership model to scale with SimpleClosure’s growth trajectory.

Professional Experience & Qualifications
  • Experienced: 6+ years business development, strategic partnerships or ecosystem development, ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech, or integrated product environments. Experience working with Payroll providers is not required, but a plus.

  • Technically Fluent: You can work with product and technical teams to identify integration opportunities and understand API-based collaboration.

  • Relationship-Oriented: You’re skilled at building trust with senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizations.

  • Deal-Minded: Strong commercial negotiation skills with a track record of structuring win-win partnerships across complex (sometimes multi-threaded) legal contracts.

  • Entrepreneurial: You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and can balance strategy with hands-on execution.

What We Offer
  • Compensation: OTE salary range $160,000 to $230,000 (this includes base pay and variable compensation)

  • Competitive equity package

  • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision

  • Life insurance

  • Unlimited paid time off

  • Two company-wide offsites each year

  • 401(k) with Traditional and Roth options, with immediate eligibility
