ABOUT THE JOB
This Senior Program Financial Analyst will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining rigorous financial controls and insights for large, complex Department of War (DoW) contracts. You will not only execute financial analysis but also have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to design and implement new financial systems and processes from the ground up, tailored to the unique demands of our advanced technology programs and production environments. Partnering closely with program leaders, contracts, and functional teams, you will provide critical financial guidance, develop comprehensive Estimates at Complete (EACs), and drive cost efficiency across the program lifecycle, from development to production and sustainment. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges, possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to partnering with cross-functional teams to drive impactful financial decisions. Your ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights will be key to helping Anduril deliver cutting-edge capabilities to our warfighters.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Full Lifecycle Financial Management of Complex DoW Contracts: Lead comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for large, multi-CLIN, hybid contracts (e.g., CPFF, FFP, T&M), ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other relevant government regulations.
  • Estimate at Complete (EAC) Development & Management: Develop, maintain, and present robust Estimates at Complete (EACs) for assigned programs, including detailed variance analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies. Drive monthly and quarterly EAC reviews with program leadership.
  • System & Process Development: Design, develop, and implement financial management tools, models, dashboards, and processes to support the unique and evolving financial management requirements of complex programs in a rapidly scaling environment.
  • Production Financial Management: Manage and analyze program financials within a production/manufacturing environment, including tracking cost of goods sold (COGS), assessing inventory impacts, and analyzing production variances.
  • Bill of Material (BOM) Cost & Unit Economics Assessment: Assess Bill of Material (BOM) costs, perform detailed unit economics analysis, and provide strategic insights to optimize production efficiency, cost structures, and program profitability.
  • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Contribution: Lead program-level financial input into the annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range strategic planning processes, developing detailed budgets and forecasts for program revenue, cost, and profit.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM): Utilize Deltek Cobra or similar EVM tools to establish performance measurement baselines, track program progress, and analyze cost and schedule variances (CV, SV, CPI, SPI). Support internal and external EVM audits and reviews as required.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, business development efforts, and special projects.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate financial risks to program performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, PMP, DAU Financial Management) is a plus.
  • 3-6 years of progressive experience in program finance or financial analysis within the DoD contracting industry, with demonstrated experience managing large, complex government contracts.
  • Proven experience developing, maintaining, and presenting program Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement financial tools, models, and processes from the ground up to support specific program needs.
  • Experience managing financials within a production or manufacturing environment, including analysis of COGS, inventory, and production variances.
  • Strong analytical skills in assessing Bill of Material (BOM) costs and conducting unit economics analysis.
  • Experience leading program input into Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and strategic planning processes.
  • Proficiency with Deltek Cobra or similar Earned Value Management (EVM) software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
  • Solid understanding of program scheduling techniques and their financial implications.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other relevant government contracting regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Netsuite) and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and effectively convey complex financial information to senior leadership.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
US Salary Range
$129,000$171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
