About the teamStreetEasy is reimagining how people buy, sell, and rent homes across New York City. Used more than any other local real estate platform, StreetEasy delivers vetted listings, NYC-specific insights, and tools that help people make confident decisions in one of the most complex housing markets in the world. Launched in 2006 and based in NoMad, Manhattan, StreetEasy is owned and operated by Zillow Group (NASDAQ: Z and ZG).

About the role

StreetEasy is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead Product Operations for our Product and Design teams. This role ensures that how we plan, execute, and learn keeps pace with our customer, partner, and business goals, while evolving our systems and workflows to integrate AI as a core part of how we build products and the experiences we deliver. You will drive the operating model that helps cross-functional teams focus on the right problems, make clear decisions, and deliver high-impact outcomes for NYC buyers, sellers, and renters and our agent partners.

You Will Get To

  • Design, operate, and continuously improve StreetEasy’s product development operating system, including planning and coordination rhythms, decision-making forums, and mechanisms that give clear visibility into progress, outcomes, and risks.

  • Lead and refine quarterly and annual planning processes, ensuring alignment across Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, Strategy, and Support, and surfacing tradeoffs and dependencies early.

  • Establish clear decision pathways and accountability models so teams understand ownership, sequencing, and success criteria from discovery through delivery and learning, enabling more predictable outcomes.

  • Partner closely with Product and Design leaders to strengthen how ideas move from insight to shipped value, reducing friction and improving predictability without adding unnecessary process.

  • Collaborate with Zillow’s broader Product Operations and Program Management organization to evaluate and integrate shared product development lifecycle (PDLC) standards where they drive consistency and scale, while shaping StreetEasy-specific adaptations that reflect our NYC market and business needs.

  • Improve cross-functional execution across Engineering and partner teams by navigating competing incentives, legacy practices, and skepticism about change, helping teams move faster and deliver higher-quality outcomes.

  • Champion AI-enabled ways of working across product development, embedding practical AI and automation into planning, coordination, and execution workflows to increase clarity, efficiency, and decision quality.

Who you are
  • Substantial experience (typically 8+ years) in product operations, program management, or product management roles supporting complex, cross-functional, product-led teams.

  • Proven ability to lead planning and execution within a matrixed organization, bringing structure without over‑process and clarity across competing priorities, while staying highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Strong systems thinker with a data-informed mindset, able to diagnose complexity, simplify it, and use metrics and qualitative signals to assess progress, risk, and system health.

  • Deep, practical experience with agile product development, with exposure to and evolution of delivery models (agile, squad-based, pod-based, or hybrid) based on outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships while constructively challenging teams and leaders to improve how work gets done.

  • Experience and enthusiasm for integrating AI and automation into everyday product workflows, tools, or decision-making processes.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and driving alignment across disciplines.

  • Familiarity with marketplaces, e-commerce, regulated environments, or NYC-specific real estate dynamics is a plus.
