The Indirect Procurement team at Zoox is responsible for creating a seamless and cost-effective travel and expense experience that reflects our commitment to innovation and operational excellence. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our travel programs and our events support, ensuring our policies, software solutions, and supplier partnerships deliver maximum value to the entire Zoox crew. You’ll join a passionate team dedicated to making cities safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy for global travel, ground transportation, and corporate event logistics, ensuring alignment with company growth and culture.
  • Own and evolve global programs, including policy development, commuter benefits, and traveler experience, while mentoring the Travel & Transportation Coordinator.
  • Manage strategic relationships and lead complex negotiations with key suppliers—such as airlines, hotels, and mobility providers to ensure performance meets our high standards.
  • Analyze spend and usage data to provide actionable insights and ROI analysis for executive stakeholders, while managing the comprehensive annual program budget.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, and IT to optimize travel tools and ensure programs reflect company values, such as sustainability and security.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in corporate travel, transportation, or indirect procurement, including ownership of global programs.
  • Experience leading people and managing high-level supplier negotiations and contracts.
  • Expertise in implementing and optimizing travel, expense, and event software (e.g., Navan, Uber for Business).
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial auditing, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across various levels and functions in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in a technology or high-growth environment.
  • Exposure to sustainability or travel risk management programs.
  • Experience with similar professional certifications (e.g., GTP or CPSM) or relevant software tools.
