Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.

Job Overview

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead the development, maintenance, and proliferation of integrated master schedules (IMS) across our programs, products, and developmental efforts. Program IMS’ inform downstream teams like Production, Software, Engineering, and Mission Services enabling them to plan and resource effectively.

The Senior Program Scheduler supports the entire Programs Group, leading the company-wide integration and adoption of Microsoft Project / Primavera P6 and driving scheduling competency and training across teams. This role combines project management, information synthesis, and clear communication with a keen understanding of scheduling systems and the tools that surface their data. Working alongside a team of tools developers, the Senior Program Scheduler generates executive dashboards and Palantir-based reports of the fully loaded schedule across all programs—enabling drill-down into individual program schedules, resources, and dependencies. This aggregated view is used to drive a holistic understanding of resource demand across both labor and products, helping Program Managers deconflict internal capacity and roadmaps against the urgency of customer timelines. The role demands direct engagement with stakeholders across Saronic to elicit and clarify timelines, resources, and blockers to execution, and it calls for deep expertise in industry-standard scheduling practices, advanced critical-path and schedule-risk analysis, and the discipline to bring rigor to scheduling in a fast-paced environment developing cutting-edge autonomous platforms.

Responsibilities

IMS Governance & Standards

  • Establish and govern IMS standards, structure, and coding conventions across the program portfolio, ensuring individual program schedules conform to a unified enterprise approach.

  • Oversee development of individual program schedules from work breakdown structures through resource-loaded, logic-linked networks.

  • Ensure the IMS complies with contractual requirements, industry scheduling standards, and organizational policies.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of the IMS, including assumptions, constraints, ground rules, and decision logs.

Critical Path & Schedule Risk Analysis

  • Partner with Program Managers to deconflict internal capacity against customer timelines and contractual deliverables.

  • Synthesize inputs from Production, Software, Engineering, and Mission Services into a coherent, executable master schedule.

  • Perform and validate critical path analyses across programs, identifying drivers, float erosion, and downstream schedule impacts.

  • Conduct schedule risk analyses to quantify confidence levels and exposure against key milestones.

  • Translate findings into strategic recommendations on resource, funding, and scope trade-offs for programs leadership.

  • Surface leading indicators of schedule slip early enough to enable corrective action.

Baseline & Change Control

  • Own the schedule baseline change control process supporting Program Managers and cross-functional delivery partners.

  • Review, approve, or reject baseline changes against defined governance criteria.

  • Track baseline versus actual performance and maintain a clear audit trail of changes and rationale.

  • Enforce disciplined change control while remaining responsive to a fast-moving development environment.

Stakeholder Communication & Process Improvement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for schedule-related inquiries, delivering clear, concise updates to internal teams, management, and technical partners.

  • Elicit and clarify timelines, resources, and execution blockers through direct engagement across the organization.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Advance the maturity of scheduling systems such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet across the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Scheduling & Advance, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 3 years managing complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.

  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams in a technical environment.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with autonomous or unmanned systems programs.

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) scheduling and reporting requirements.

  • Master’s degree and/or certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or Scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP).

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Occasional standing and walking within the office

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment

  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports

  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)
