Critical Mass is hiring for a contract Sr Project Manager.  This is a high-visibility contract role on a dynamic communications team creating world-class digital marketing material. You'll work on exciting projects with tight timelines, meaningful scope, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact. This role is a contract role from May 4, 2026 through Sept 25, 2026. 

 You Will:

  • Lead high-impact digital marketing projects across multiple platforms and channels, from concept through delivery, for a world-class brand's communications portfolio
  • Manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives with aggressive timelines, working directly with creative teams, technology partners, and senior-level stakeholders to drive results
  • Communicate strategic direction and high-level concepts clearly and concisely to cross-functional teams and executives, translating business objectives into actionable project plans
  • Own the full project lifecycle: scoping, structuring, resource management, risk mitigation, and delivery—using best-in-class project management tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate seamlessly with creative, development, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of digital communications across web, email, direct mail, partner assets, and beyond
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks early, taking decisive action to keep projects on track and manage partner expectations with transparency and confidence
  • Prioritize shifting requirements and changes in real-time, maintaining flexibility without losing sight of strategic goals or quality standards
  • Champion innovative solutions and best practices, partnering with teams to push boundaries in digital interaction and delivery

 You Have:

  • 7+ years of digital project management experience, with 5+ years independently leading complex, multi-platform initiatives—preferably with interactive agency or high-profile brand experience
  • A proven track record of delivering sophisticated digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across diverse channels (web, email, mobile, partner platforms, etc.)
  • Deep proficiency in digital communication platforms, technologies, and current industry advancements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas persuasively to stakeholders at all levels
  • Outstanding attention to detail paired with the ability to zoom out and think strategically about broader objectives
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments—you embrace tight timelines and don't need extensive ramp-up time
  • A can-do attitude and track record of hitting milestones and deadlines, even under pressure
  • Experience building strong relationships across creative, technical, and business teams, with a collaborative leadership style
  • Proficiency with prioritization tools and project management software
  • A commitment to excellence and a bias toward action—you're solution-oriented and not afraid to stand behind the right decision


We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
Salary Range
$150,000$162,000 USD
