Worth AI is seeking a Quality Analyst to join a product team as the dedicated quality owner for a defined domain of our platform.

In this role, you will be embedded within a cross-functional team, working alongside engineers, product managers, and automation specialists to ensure we ship reliable, predictable, and high-quality software.

You will develop deep domain expertise, design comprehensive manual test coverage in Qase, execute rigorous validation across complex workflows, and partner with automation engineers to ensure high-value scenarios are automated over time.

You are methodical, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking hard questions when requirements feel incomplete or ambiguous. You view quality not as a gate, but as a shared responsibility — and you help raise the bar across the team.

Responsibilities
  • Own the quality strategy for a major product area, ensuring comprehensive coverage across features, integrations, and data flows.
  • Develop deep expertise in business logic and proactively identify risk areas before implementation begins.
  • Translate ambiguous requirements into structured, comprehensive test strategies in Qase.
  • Design complex, multi-system test scenarios that validate real-world workflows and failure states.
  • Execute advanced exploratory testing to uncover edge cases others may miss.
  • Lead regression strategy for your domain and ensure coverage evolves as the system grows.
  • Partner with automation engineers to prioritize and evolve automation coverage strategically.
  • Analyze defect trends and propose systemic improvements to reduce recurring issues.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions to advocate for testability and risk mitigation.
  • Communicate release risk and tradeoffs clearly to engineering and product leadership.
  • Mentor Quality Analysts and help level up testing rigor, documentation quality, and risk awareness.
  • Raise the standard of clarity in acceptance criteria and definition of done.

    • Proven experience owning quality for complex product domains.
    • Strong ability to handle ambiguous requirements and convert them into structured validation plans.
    • Demonstrated experience identifying systemic risk beyond surface-level bugs.
    • Advanced experience designing comprehensive test strategies in Qase (or similar tools).
    • Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and data validation.
    • Ability to analyze patterns in defects and influence process or architectural improvements.
    • Experience mentoring or coaching other QA team members.
    • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting risk assessments to leadership.

Success Metrics

    • Significant reduction in escaped defects within your domain.
    • Improved release confidence and fewer high-severity production incidents.
    • Higher clarity in requirements and fewer late-stage ambiguities.
    • Clear regression strategy with strong traceability and evolving coverage.
    • Increased maturity of other QA team members through mentorship.
    • Measurable improvement in quality-related DORA indicators (Change Failure Rate, MTTR).
