Position: Senior QA Engineer
Location: 2121 North California Blvd., Ste .220, Walnut Creek, CA 94596
Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive QA strategy; collaborate with software development teams and stakeholders to implement the QA strategy; diagnose quality complaints and issues; and set and enforce QA standards and best practices. Drive automation initiatives; analyze business requirements to ensure usability and testability; oversee execution of manual and automated tests; identify, report, and track defects; ensure defects are timely resolved; and update test cases for feature enhancements on existing functionality. Establish and maintain KPIs and metrics; lead and mentor a team of QA engineers; identify training opportunities; and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Educ./experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Test Analyst, QA Analyst or in a related position. Experience must include TypeScript with Playwright; Cypress automation using JavaScript; automation framework design and pipeline development; performance and scalability testing in distributed environments; and cloud-based application testing on platforms GCP and Azure.
