About the role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Senior QA Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through manual and automated testing. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues before release. The ideal candidate is meticulous, communicative, agile-minded, and ready to hit the ground running at a fast-paced AI startup.

How will you make an impact:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business and functional test scenarios.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and both manual and automated test cases.
  • Document test cases for new features and existing functionality where needed.
  • Build and run automated front-end tests using industry-standard tools.
  • Maintain and update automated test cases to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects.
  • Provide timely, clear feedback to developers, stakeholders, and project managers on software quality, test results, and product performance.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance automated testing processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with best practices.

Skills needed to succeed:

  • 7+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end test automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, WebDriver IO, or Protractor).
  • Solid experience in API and database testing (SQL, MySQL, Postgres).
  • A deep understanding of QA principles: functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Strong manual test case creation and execution skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to write clear bug reports and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with BDD test cases and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with web technologies like JavaScript and React.
  • Self-starter with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative.

What We Offer:

  • A fun, team-oriented startup culture.
  • Generous stock options - we all get to own a piece of what we’re building.
  • Unlimited vacation days.
  • Flexible schedule that supports working from home.
  • Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid paternal leave, and more.
  • Ample opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities.

We are an equal opportunity employer.
