About the Role

Anuma.ai (built by ZetaChain) is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to lead the development of high-quality mobile experiences that bring private, AI-powered interfaces to users around the world. This role is perfect for someone who has built mobile products from 0 to 1, thrives in fast-moving environments, and cares deeply about performance, polish, and user experience.

You’ll own the design, development, and launch of production-grade React Native applications that interact directly with Anuma.ai’s platform. Working closely with product and design, you’ll help make powerful AI capabilities intuitive, accessible, and delightful for end users.

What You'll Do
  • Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Drive projects from concept to launch, ensuring smooth product development and delivery.
  • Own and manage the full mobile app release pipeline, including building, testing, and submitting apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate APIs and blockchain data efficiently to deliver responsive, high-performance apps.
  • Optimize app performance and memory utilization while maintaining security best practices.
  • Review and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to code reviews, mentoring, and improving engineering standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with React Native and mobile development best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with React Native in production environments.
  • A proven track record of building and launching 0 → 1 mobile apps, ideally in consumer or fintech domains.
  • Experience shipping and independently launching commercial mobile apps from 0 → 1, including handling App Store and Play Store submissions, understanding review nuances, and optimizing for deployment success—with examples available to share.
  • Deep understanding of mobile development fundamentals, performance optimization, and modern UI/UX design principles.
  • Strong familiarity with native device capabilities—including storage, encryption, memory utilization, background tasks, and permission handling.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, React Hooks, Redux (or similar state management libraries).
  • Experience with integrating APIs, analytics, and third-party SDKs.
  • Strong debugging and self-sufficient problem-solving skills.
  • You leverage AI tools to enhance your workflow, while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals and code craftsmanship.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with LLMs, on-device browsers, or chat applications.
  • Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
  • Understanding of mobile app security and encryption principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile apps.

We believe that collaboration is supercharged when we share space together. Many members of our team work hybrid from our San Francisco office, and we aim for 3 in-office days per week. But generally, we value showing up, building together, and keeping the energy high. The company is a mix of remote and local team members.

Compensation

Base Salary: $140,000 – $190,000
This range reflects base salaries for roles in the San Francisco market. For candidates in other locations, compensation is adjusted to remain competitive within their local market.

In addition to the base salary, all full-time team members receive an additional 10% to 25% in liquid benefits with upside based on role, experience, and impact. We believe in building together and sharing in the long-term success of the network. Compensation packages are designed to be competitive and aligned with the growth of both the team and the ecosystem.
