What we do: 

We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter who will primarily support hiring for our Sales and Client Services organization across the West Coast, with a heavy focus on the LA and San Francisco markets. This includes hiring at various levels of seniority within our Business Development (BD) and Client Services (CS) teams, along with potential support for additional Go-to-Market functions as needed.  

You should be passionate about building meaningful connections, energized by finding entrepreneurial and ambitious commercial talent, and excited to represent TTD across key West Coast markets. You’ll also contribute to operational projects that help us improve our processes, elevate our hiring manager partnership model, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience every step of the way.  

This position will be based in our Los Angeles office and will report to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for Go-to-Market hiring.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers to deeply understand the function, team and the requirements of the open roles   
  • Manage and drive full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interview, feedback and offers for all levels of candidates from entry to senior level 
  • Find the best, brightest and most passionate people for The Trade Desk using new and creative ways to find and engage them   
  • Deliver innovative and scalable sourcing solutions to help drive a pipeline of talent to meet our hiring needs 
  • Influence business leaders and educate hiring managers on process, interview best practices and decision making 
  • Providing regular status reports to business partners and ensuring that candidate tracking is up to date within our ATS 
  • Maintaining strong relationships with candidates and manage each step in the hiring process closely to foster long-term relationships 
  • Provide stellar candidate experience. Create new ways to surprise and delight candidates as they go through our interview process 
  • Partner collaboratively with our People Partners (PAP/HR) to ensure alignment on hiring needs, internal mobility processes, performance considerations, and to uphold strong, consistent hiring practices across the organization.  
  • Manage internal mobility thoughtfully and equitably, including internal applicants, referrals, and internal offer processes — ensuring fairness, excellent communication, and a strong reputation for the TA team with internal talent.  
  • Implementing and executing recruiting programs to attract top talent 
  • Represent The Trade Desk with integrity and professionalism. Speak passionately and authentically about The Trade Desk and our mission 
  • Maintaining high level of data integrity and able to present your work with data-driven approach    

Who you are: 

  • Ideally 8 yrs+ of in-house experience, recruiting for Sales roles across the AdTech or Digital Media space 
  • Demonstrated track record of building relationships and influencing very senior Hiring Managers and other Cross-functional partners, throughout the hiring lifecycle   
  • Deep knowledge of the media landscape across the US ideally with a focus on Programmatic 
  • Proven experience in headhunting passive candidates from top tier companies 
  • Demonstrated track record of using creative means to build a robust and scalable pipeline of talent   
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace ambiguity and adapt to changes

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$85,300$156,400 USD
