Job Description:

The Senior Regional Product Manager has overall responsibility for management of the their assigned product lines and will be expected to make an impact in driving market share and Belkin’s revenue. The Senior Regional Product Manager is responsible for management of the designated Belkin product lines, including the specific product mix, product families, and ongoing evaluation of products to be added, enhanced, refined, developed, or eliminated. You will also be responsible for increasing sales and profitability through channel sell through initiatives and marketing activities. The Senior Product Manager is the lead in the preparation of major customer meeting deliverables, setting priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met. As a result this role will have frequent interaction with functional leads across several departments, which will require excellent communication and collaboration skills.  You will ensure that the Belkin product line is recognized as the best line by resellers and end users in the industry for value, quality, selection, innovation, features, reliability, and ease of use.

Our hybrid work model allows you to work from home and take advantage of our HQ in El Segundo at any time. You'll work from your home some of the time and come to the office to use our equipment and meet with the team. It is required that you will spend 2-3 days in the office per week.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of all elements of our business – supply chain, design, sell-in, in-store merchandising, online merchandising, distribution, etc. – to create long-term barriers-to-entry against competitors in a highly-competitive marketplace.
  • Develop and execute selling and marketing activities that drive market share and revenue growth across multiple sales channels
  • Lead internal and external initiatives in collaboration with Sales, Global Product Management, Marketing, Design, Branding, and Demand Planning to deliver on product pricing, product positioning, product placement, and product sell through
  • Engage and empower the sales function to deliver best-in-class field execution, helping them to understand and deliver our vision and strategy to our retail and commercial customers
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and command of all elements of our business – supply chain, design, sell-in, in-store merchandising, online merchandising, distribution, consumer marketing, etc. to create long-term barriers-to-entry against competitors in a highly-competitive marketplace
  • Responsible for achieving sales and profitability goals of categories assigned.
  • Coach, mentor, manage and develop a group of product managers to ensure on time and on scope execution of assigned category projects and NPI KPIs.
  • Direct weekly cadence, agenda and communication with regional/channel teams to ensure product launch support and alignment
  • Conduct regular business reviews, lead PM summits, support regional sales line reviews to ensure that business unit initiatives are properly communicated and executed.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop, communicate and execute go-to-market strategies/product launches, product marketing and messaging.
  • Technical, thorough understanding of mobility hardware technology and its role across the broader electronics landscape
  • Ownership of the Americas Region P&L and Balance sheet. Will be required to meet and exceed budget numbers and inventory metrics, and drive profitable growth in the business
  • Lead the preparation of major customer meeting deliverables, setting priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Required Skills:

  • Proven capability to deliver successful business cases surrounding consumer needs and products/solutions.
  • Proven capability to deliver superior consumer insights based on research plans that you have led or played a significant role in developing
  • An energetic leader who has demonstrated an ability to energize others as well around difficult goals and objectives
  • A visionary who has created and articulated strategies for their business that have resulted in significant business improvements
  • Critical thinking and decision-making experiences demonstrating appropriate balance between thoughtful research and the need for timeliness.
  • Natural born leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and dynamic teaming abilities
  • Prior background in portfolio and brand management with New Product experience is a plus.  

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Proven track record and experience in successfully launching consumer products.
  • Four-year college degree in Business Administration or Marketing. MBA highly preferred
  • 7+ years experience in a similar role or related work experience within the consumer packaged goods or consumer electronics industry
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing other product managers
  • Depending on channel, domestic and international travel may be required

Range for this position:

$90,000 - $120,000

Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, compensation also includes a performance-based bonus, and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
