What you'll be doing .
- Lead, coach, and develop the Ontario field sales team to achieve regional sales, volume, margin, and market share objectives
- Manage 10 field sales reps performance through regular coaching, feedback, and development planning while holding individuals accountable to results
- Build and execute regional sales strategies that drive profitable growth across priority customers, distributors, operators, and product categories
- Manage key regional multi-unit customers while supporting the team on strategic opportunities, competitive conversions, and retention efforts
- Drive strong CRM (Salesforce) discipline to manage opportunities, customer activity, campaigns, and pipeline visibility
- Leverage data, insights, and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, competitive risks, and regional priorities
- Lead execution of key initiatives including innovation launches, distributor programs, customer campaigns, and retention strategies
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, category, revenue management, supply chain, finance, culinary, and customer service teams
- Manage regional trade spend, distributor programs, deductions, and customer agreements with a focus on ROI and accountability
- Support distributor partnerships through joint business planning, training, trade shows, and customer engagement
- Conduct joint customer calls to coach selling skills and support strategic customer conversations
- Ensure delivery against annual budgets, regional targets, and business objectives through disciplined planning and execution
What you'll need to be successful.
- 7+ years of CPG or foodservice sales experience with strong knowledge of distributors, independent operators, and regional accounts
- Previous people leadership or sales management experience
- Proven ability to coach, develop, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable to results
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance volume, margin, trade spend, and customer needs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies
- Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, to manage performance and customer engagement
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to perform under pressure, lead through change, and simplify complex business challenges
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a region autonomously while maintaining alignment with leadership
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly across Ontario
- Must reside in Ontario
