tmp helps B2B marketing leaders create coherence in a chaotic world. We’re looking for obsessively curious people to join us.

You'll join 300 B2B experts across strategy, data, creative, media, client services, Sales activation, and shared services. Different skills brought together in integrated teams, centred around our clients: the world’s most impactful tech companies.

So, if you’re interested in what makes the world work, if you find solving complex problems fun, and you love making the answers as simple as possible, then we’d love to hear from you.

What we are looking for

This role exists to optimise how people and partners are deployed across global portfolios, ensuring the right talent is on the right projects at the right time. You’ll oversee day-to-day resourcing, balancing full-time and contractor teams to meet delivery needs and operational goals. Acting as a bridge between Delivery, Creative, Strategy, and Operations, you’ll resolve capacity conflicts, facilitate portfolio resourcing discussions, and ensure global capacity is leveraged effectively. This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and operational rigour.

What you will do:

Resource Planning & Allocation

  • Oversee daily resourcing across multiple client portfolios, in close partnership with Delivery and Creative/Strategy leads.
  • Lead global portfolio resourcing calls, facilitating capacity discussions and resolving conflicts quickly and pragmatically.
  • Partner with global counterparts to manage cross-regional allocations and ensure equitable workload distribution.
  • Monitor utilisation, availability, and forecast data to identify trends, gaps, or risks in advance.
  • Support business cases for new hires or long-term contractor engagement based on demand and forecast trends.

Contractor Management

  • Oversee all administrative and operational aspects of onboarding, extensions, and offboarding for contingent talent.
  • Ensure freelancer usage is within commercial targets and aligned with hiring policy.
  • Ensure compliance with IR35 and TMP’s vendor management standards.
  • Track and report on contractor spend and usage patterns, providing insight to Delivery and Finance teams.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Maintain high-quality data in Kantata (and associated systems) to ensure accurate reporting across utilisation, forecasting, and capacity planning.
  • Partner with Business Systems & Data and Finance teams to continuously refine forecasting and time-tracking processes.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and reporting dashboards within delivery teams.
  • Contribute to the evolution of tmp’s Workforce Operations model by integrating offshoring, specialist resourcing, and flexible capacity models.

People & Partnership

  • Build strong working relationships with Delivery Directors, Client Services, Creative Directors, and Finance partners across the region.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to develop consistent and proactive resourcing practices.
  • Foster collaboration across regions to create a unified global resourcing culture.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • Calm and solution-oriented under pressure, able to navigate complex or changing scenarios with confidence.
  • Knowledgeable about agency resourcing and the strategic use of contractors, understanding when and why to bring them in for support.
  • Operationally sharp, translating complex policies and processes into simple, efficient workflows.
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator, able to build alignment across Delivery, Client Services, Creative, Strategy, and Operations teams.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong follow-through on commitments and the ability to anticipate challenges.
  • Personable problem-solver who brings clarity and calm to tense situations, keeping operations running smoothly.

What you will need:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in resourcing, workforce planning, or operations within marketing, digital, or professional services environments.
  • Deep understanding of project delivery cycles in creative or B2B marketing contexts.
  • Advanced skills in resource planning and operational tools such as Kantata/Mavenlink, Float, 10kft, Smartsheet, and Excel.
  • Strong commercial mindset, able to balance financial efficiency with operational and resourcing excellence.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders across senior levels.
  • Confident operating in a complex, matrixed, global environment.

We are currently eligible to hire within these US states:

CA, CO, IL, WA, and TX.

A note on applying:

Not sure you tick every box? Apply anyway. Research shows some people hold back unless they meet 100% of the requirements. We do not want that to be you.

At tmp, we hire for potential, mindset, and character as much as experience. If you are excited about the role but your background is not a perfect match, we would still love to hear from you. You might be exactly what we are looking for, either for this role or another.

Diversity equals increased creativity, which equals better results for all. We’re committed to equality of opportunity and applications from all individuals are encouraged. If you have a disability or additional need that requires accommodation, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
