You will:

  • Set-up and review customer contracts, billing schedules, and revenue schedules in accordance with LiveRamp’s revenue recognition policies and ASC 606

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue-related journal entries, unbilled and deferred reconciliations and prepare flux analyses

  • Prepare technical accounting memos and supporting documentation for complex contracts based ASC 606 revenue recognition

  • Partner with cross functional team such as FP&A, Billing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Deal Desk on non-standard arrangements, providing clear revenue guidance and documenting conclusions 

  • Mentor and coach revenue accountants (Offshore) and drive consistency across the revenue function

  • Identify and leverage technology to automate and innovate internal processes, including systems and process improvements

  • Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed

  • Ensure all revenue activities comply with SOX controls, documentation standards, and audit readiness requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, ideally CPA, or to similar level

  • 4-7 years experience in accounting in industry and/or public accounting, focus on SaaS & software revenue recognition required

  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 in relation to Saas business

  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills

  • Comfort with ambiguity and change, including the ability to adapt quickly as products, pricing, and systems evolve

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, financial reporting tools and Microsoft Office/ G-Suite

About you: 

  • Proven track record of owning complex revenue processes or domains with minimal oversight.

  • Recognized as a subject-matter expert for revenue recognition

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives (e.g., system changes) from requirements through rollout.

  • Strong communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and time zones. 

  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, conditional formatting).

  • Experience with Workday Financials and Salesforce preferred.

  • Familiarity with customer financial portals (e.g., Coupa, Ariba) is a plus.

  • Minimum 4–7 years of revenue experience, preferably within a subscription or SaaS environment. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $86,500 to $128,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
