A Day in the life:
- Lead revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including contract review, performance obligation identification, and transaction price allocation.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities related to revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled revenue
- Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses with supporting documentation.
- Support external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to revenue-related inquiries.
- Maintain and improve revenue policies, procedures, and internal controls in
- Drive process automation and scalability initiatives.
- Assist in NetSuite implementation
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting4+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or SaaS experience preferred)
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct
- NetSuite implementation experience is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups) and experience supporting process improvements
- Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced business environmentAble to collaborate with cross-functional teams
