Senior RCM Data Analyst

Drive financial performance. Deliver insight. Transform the revenue cycle through data.

At SimonMed, we believe smarter data drives better decisions—and better patient outcomes. As a Senior Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Data Analyst, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the performance of one of the nation’s largest outpatient imaging networks.

This is more than an analytics role—it’s an opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, optimize financial performance, and build a scalable, best-in-class revenue cycle analytics function. You will partner across operations, finance, IT, and executive leadership to deliver insights that accelerate cash flow, reduce denials, and strengthen long-term growth.

If you are a highly analytical leader with deep revenue cycle expertise and a passion for turning data into action, we invite you to join our growing organization.

What You Bring

Strategic analytics leadership

You lead end-to-end analysis of the radiology revenue cycle—from scheduling and authorization through billing, reimbursement, AR, and denials—delivering insights that drive measurable financial and operational improvements.

Actionable business insight

You transform complex data into clear, compelling recommendations that guide executive decision-making, improve workflows, and optimize performance across markets, payers, and modalities.

Revenue cycle expertise

You bring deep knowledge of front-end operations, coding, billing, collections, and denial management, with the ability to identify root causes and implement data-driven solutions.

Performance optimization

You design and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting that monitor and improve cash acceleration, denial trends, underpayments, and operational efficiency.

Data integrity and governance

You ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across data systems, establishing standards and processes that support trust in reporting and decision-making.

Technology and automation

You leverage EHRs, practice management systems, and BI tools to automate reporting, improve data accessibility, and enhance analytical capabilities across the organization.

Financial partnership

You collaborate with finance and operations leaders on forecasting, variance analysis, payer performance, and strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth.

Team leadership and development

You mentor and develop RCM analysts, establishing high standards for analytical rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement while building a high-performing team.

Cross-functional collaboration

You partner with IT, vendors, and operational leaders to enhance systems, improve workflows, and integrate radiology-specific data and processes.

What You’ll Gain

Enterprise-wide impact

Shape revenue cycle performance across a national imaging organization by influencing strategy, operations, and financial outcomes.

A data-driven culture

Work alongside executive leadership to elevate analytics as a core driver of decision-making and operational excellence.

Leadership opportunity

Build and scale an RCM analytics function while mentoring talent and establishing best practices across the organization.

Meaningful work

Directly contribute to improving patient access, financial sustainability, and operational effectiveness.

Professional growth

Expand your influence through high-visibility projects, cross-functional leadership, and continuous innovation.

You’re a Strong Fit if You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle analytics, preferably in radiology or healthcare services
  • Deep expertise across the full revenue cycle, including denials, AR, billing, and reimbursement
  • Advanced analytical skills (SQL, Excel; BI tools preferred)
  • Experience building dashboards, KPI frameworks, and executive-level reporting
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring analysts
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link operational performance to financial outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and payer requirements (HIPAA, CMS, etc.)
  • Experience working in multi-site or multi-state healthcare environments

Benefits
