Position Description:

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will own a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market clients, driving renewals, upsells, and long-term growth. This role combines strategic account management with a sales-driven mindset, ensuring we expand wallet share, transition accounts to usage-based pricing, and deliver measurable business outcomes for our clients.

The SAM will act as the quarterback across internal teams (Pricing, Product, Services, Legal, Finance), ensuring client needs are met while protecting margin and aligning to company growth goals.

Director, Growth Accounts

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in account management, renewals, or enterprise sales (hospitality or restaurant tech strongly preferred).

  • Proven track record of exceeding renewal/upsell quotas and managing multi-million-dollar accounts.

  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, comfortable presenting to C-suite executives.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts (loyalty, ordering, POS, API/data) into client business value.

  • Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable working in Salesforce and with reporting dashboards.

    Additional Skills:

  • MEDDICC familiarity or other structured sales methodology.

  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, finance, and services teams.

Unleash Your Potential: What You Will Be Doing and Owning

  • Renewals & Expansions: Lead end-to-end renewal cycles, from early discovery to negotiation and close. Identify and execute upsell opportunities (wallets, subscriptions, ordering, modules, international expansion).

  • Account Strategy: Develop and execute account plans for top clients, mapping decision makers, white space opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Commercial Negotiation: Own pricing discussions and structure creative, win-win proposals that balance client value with company economics.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Services, Finance, and Legal to structure deals, resolve client issues, and accelerate time-to-value.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a clean, accurate forecast in Salesforce, using MEDDICC-style rigor and disciplined opportunity tracking.

  • Client Advocacy: Build executive-level relationships to position PAR as a trusted advisor and uncover long-term growth opportunities.
