The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering sales compensation programs that align with company strategy and drive sales performance. This role partners closely with RevOps, Finance, HR, and Sales Leadership to ensure compensation plans are accurate, competitive, and effectively motivate the sales organization. The analyst also oversees compensation modeling, reporting, data integrity and reconciliations, and ensuring governance around compensation processes.

We are currently seeking a highly driven Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to join our operations in the United States.
The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering sales compensation programs that align with company strategy and drive sales performance. This role partners closely with RevOps, Finance, HR, and Sales Leadership to ensure compensation plans are accurate, competitive, and effectively motivate the sales organization. The analyst also oversees compensation modeling, reporting, data integrity and reconciliations, and ensuring governance around compensation processes.
Performance Objectives
Payout Processing & Governance
- Calculate monthly/quarterly commission payouts accurately and timely.
- Manage compensation disputes and escalations with professionalism and strong documentation discipline.
- Ensure all payouts comply with company policies, plan rules, and audit requirements.
- Partner with internal audit and Finance to support appropriate controls and compensation compliance.
Sales Compensation Design & Administration
- Support the design, modeling, and rollout of annual and mid‑year sales compensation plans for multiple sales roles, as well as that of supporting documentation such as bonus plans, compensation calculators, and the like.
- Analyze performance trends, quota attainment, cost of sales, and plan effectiveness to recommend program enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, plan summaries, and governance processes for compensation plans.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of compensation processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
Data Management, Reporting & Insights
- Own compensation‑related reporting, including attainment tracking, payout modeling, cost analysis, and dashboard creation.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness within the incentive compensation system (e.g., CaptivateIQ).
- Prepare executive ‑ level reporting and analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise insights for presentations and discussions.
Team and Cross- Functional Collaboration & Culture
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the flexibility to manage multiple projects at once.
- Serve as a trusted partner to Sales Leadership by delivering meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Tailor communication to audiences at all organizational levels, including non ‑ technical stakeholders.
- Present analytical findings in clear, structured narratives that support effective decision ‑ making.
- Demonstrate exemplary ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive data and decisions.
Competitive Candidate Profile
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and at least one ICM platform (CaptivateIQ strongly preferred, Xactly, Varicent, Performio, etc.).
- Ability to manage large data sets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining complex compensation topics to non‑technical audiences.
- Time-awareness and able to balance shifting priorities.
- Self-driven, intellectually curious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High degree of personal accountability, follow-through, and professionalism.
Preferred
- Experience supporting Enterprise or SaaS go‑to‑market organizations.
- Knowledge of quota setting, territory planning, and sales operations processes.
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Experience in high‑growth or complex sales environments.
