Mayvin is seeking a Senior SharePoint (SP) Developer to lead the Knowledge Management (KM) efforts transitioning legacy CWMD data and development of new SharePoint solutions. This position will support the CBRN Operations Resilience Directorate, FEMA, DHS.  


Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation.



Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of SharePoint developers coordinating with FEMA federal staff to develop solutions supporting FEMA CBRN Operations Resilience information management requirements
  • Provide SharePoint subject matter expertise to guide and inform SharePoint legacy and new initiatives
  • Determine the best technical details/layout/formatting of pages, web parts, and content for any new CBRN Operations Resilience KM site features
  • Evaluate feasibility/best alternative of how to present content (features/availability in design have changed or been replaced by some other layout in CBRN Operations Resilience environment)
  • Evaluate page layout and presentation differences in “modern” (vs. classic) view in CBRN Operations Resilience (Some web parts are no longer available or not in the same format as in legacy CWMD KM Sites)
  • Be the SME on best approaches to functionality in new Power Apps vs. old InfoPath forms
  • Be the SME on best approaches and how to craft workflows that exist in legacy CWMD systems to new flows in Power Automate to achieve same or better results in workflows
  • Participate in testing and pre- and post-test review meetings as well as troubleshooting solutions during implementation/testing/development phases and the rollout and cutover for legacy and new KM Sites
  • Recommend technical improvements, where appropriate to best use the Power Platform available/implemented by DHS note: the Power Platform features and components available for the DHS environment may not be the same as in other commercial environments – i.e., premium components)
  • Assist in training staff in CBRN Operations Resilience on the use of the KM site
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • The candidate will be part of a contracting team and should be familiar with working on federal contracts
  • Must also have good interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of an existing team.  This position has high visibility and is critical to the continuity of operations within CBRN Operations Resilience Directorate in FEMA
  • Detailed knowledge of CWMD Strategy and Policy across DHS and DoD organizations
  • Experience and success managing this type of transition
  • Must have experience developing artifacts and must have experience with transitioning from one SharePoint environment to the other.  Transitional experience should include the transition of functions, not just the migration or movement of data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SharePoint experience in the DHS environment is a significant plus
