High-Level Overview

As Benevity’s Senior Social Media Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our voice in the market and will partner across the business to help bring our brand to life narrative and content strategy to life on social media platforms. As a part of Benevity’s brand and comms team you’ll be responsible for creating engaging content strategy that is social-first, leading and executing projects to drive measurable business outcomes and meaningful interactions with our audiences. 

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 16 MONTH TERM POSITION. 

What you'll do

  • Global Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute Benevity's global social media strategy with targeted focus on select key markets to improve share of voice and drive pipeline creation attribution 
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging content (text, image, and videos) for various social media platforms drive impressions, engagements, conversions
  • Social Calendar Management: Develop and manage Benevity’s calendar of social media content to leverage our unique offering, brand narrative, thought leadership and content strategy. 
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Define key performance indicators and KPIs for social media campaigns. Translate results and data from social activities to insights to fuel content strategy and market knowledge. 
  • Audience Engagement: Engage with and grow our audience through comments, direct messages, and other social media interactions.
  • Social Advocacy: Develop and execute employee, exec and stakeholder advocacy programs. 
  • Brand Standards: Collaborate with other marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels. 

What you'll bring

  • Experience: 6+ years proven experience in social media management and content creation. Experience managing global b2b brands and executing social strategies for multiple countries and audience segments.
  • Digital Mindset: Digital native understanding of trends, engagement best practices and content expertise. Energetic, creative thinker with a strong grasp of marketing best practice,  trends, culture, and competitive dynamics.
  • Creative Production: Extensive experience in creative development,  brief development and collaboration with creative teams/agencies, including on-set work. 
  • Platform Passion: Strong understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, tiktok). A passion for social impact and a desire to contribute to a meaningful cause. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Canva).
  • Thrives in Dynamic Environments: Adaptable and positive in managing changing priorities and changing deliverables or business needs.
  • Analytical Approach: Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize social media campaigns. Ability to translate results and insights into strategy.
