We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Specialist to help power and scale Cohesity’s corporate social presence across our global brand channels.

This role is for someone who understands that modern social is visual first, video forward, and audience obsessed. Channel management is not just scheduling posts. It is storytelling, timing, listening, experimentation, and constant optimization.

You will manage day to day operations across our corporate channels while partnering closely with brand, PR, product marketing, field marketing, and executive teams to ensure Cohesity shows up with clarity, consistency, and impact.

This is a high visibility role in a fast-moving cybersecurity company where social plays a critical role in brand growth, thought leadership, and demand generation.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

Channel Management

  • Own day to day management of Cohesity’s corporate social channels including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and emerging platforms.

  • Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual standards across all content.

  • Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in partnership with internal stakeholders.

  • Support global channel coordination and ensure alignment across regions.

Content Development & Visual Storytelling

  • Develop engaging, platform native content with a strong emphasis on short form video and compelling visual storytelling.

  • Concept, script, shoot, and edit social first video content for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Capture and curate high quality photography for use across corporate channels, events, and campaigns.

  • Partner with internal creative teams and agencies to bring larger campaigns to life.

  • Translate product launches, customer stories, thought leadership, and company news into engaging social narratives.

  • Repurpose long form content into snackable, high impact social moments.

  • Experiment with new formats including reels, behind the scenes content, executive video snippets, and trend driven TikTok content.

Editorial Calendar & Scheduling

  • Own and manage the corporate social editorial calendar.

  • Balance campaign content, evergreen storytelling, executive amplification, partner moments, and reactive content.

  • Schedule and publish posts using social management tools.

  • Ensure alignment across marketing campaigns, announcements, and tentpole events.

Social Listening & Trend Monitoring

  • Actively monitor social conversations, industry news, competitor activity, and emerging trends.

  • Identify opportunities for real time engagement and reactive content.

  • Surface insights that inform messaging, positioning, and campaign development.

  • Support social coverage during live events and major announcements.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track channel performance including reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance.

  • Report on insights and provide recommendations to improve results.

  • Test new formats, messaging approaches, video styles, and posting strategies.

  • Continuously refine strategy based on performance data and platform trends.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 3 -5 plus years' of experience in social media, digital marketing, or brand marketing.

  • Demonstrated experience developing video and photography content for social platforms.

  • Proficiency in video/graphic editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar platforms.

  • Strong eye for visual composition, lighting, framing, and brand consistency.

  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and formats.

  • Experience managing editorial calendars and publishing through tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, or similar platforms.

  • Analytical mindset with comfort reviewing data and translating insights into action.

  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally with marketing, PR, creative, and product teams.

  • Experience in B2B technology or cybersecurity is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
