We are looking for a highly motivated Senior SRE Engineer/Developer. Join our Mapping Infrastructure Engineering team and work in a group that makes highly accurate maps for Autonomous Driving. You will love this job if you are passionate about SRE, Kubernetes, improving productivity of your colleagues, working on new technologies and trends, likes to automate performance, deployment and monitoring tools, and working with dedicated engineers

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with other team members to ensure that mapping services are always up and running

  • Propose and implement new ways to monitor performance and reliability of the mapping services

  • Write code to deploy infra and services

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in the CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years experience as DevOps, SRE engineer in large distributed systems deployment

  • Excellent understanding of AWS deployments

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Good knowledge of least one programming and scripting language

  • Strong knowledge of application containers and container orchestration systems

  • Experience deploying and managing cloud based services

  • Deep knowledge of the networking fundamentals

  • Proficient with Linux environment

  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated skills to respond quickly to failures by identifying right components and engineering team

  • Knowledge of middleware and backend systems like Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, HBase, Postgres and ElasticSearch.

  • Extensive experience with monitoring and alerting systems such sa Prometheus, Datadog.

  • Proficiency in crafting highly available applications and modern deployment strategies like CI/CD

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
