Position:                 Senior Software Engineer II, Mobile

Location: 111 W. Ocean Blvd., Ste 1800, Long Beach, CA 90802

Responsibilities: Architect and implement mobile application features for Android using Kotlin, Jetpack.  Compose and MVVM architecture with Coroutines and Flow.  Lead cross-functional teams through feature development cycles, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new software releases.  Define and implement technical systems across mobile platforms using Kotlin Multiplatform and React Native.  Mentor other engineers and drive technical excellence through code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practices implementation.  Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases and developer productivity.  Lead the design and implementation of asynchronous communication patterns for real-time data processing.

Educ./experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, plus three (3) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer or in a related position. Experience must include: Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, Compose, Dagger, XML, MVVM Architecture, developing backend systems for server-client communication through REST APIs, and push notifications using cloud services.

Salary range:               $129,667 - $200,417/year
