We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer II who will make significant contributions to the development of our advanced cell therapy manufacturing platform.

The primary focus of this position will be the design and implementation of software subsystems that live at the edge of the software-hardware boundary. Responsible for maintaining and refining system requirements and architecture: create and__ maintain documents, models & diagrams describing functional and physical decompositions, interface definitions, and flow diagrams. Support architecture definition by working with subsystem design teams to align overlapping design requirements /constraints and drive teams in developing concepts, evaluating risks, and efficiently converging on a design path. Provide support to sub-system engineers in the development of models that guide lower-level design decisions. Assist teams with complex root-cause analysis in which thereare many possible root causes that involve various areas of physics, using a structured approach for problem solving. Work closely with other members of the team to formulate, execute, and analyze verification and validation activities.

Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and be prepared to tackle a broad selection of challenges as the company scales up from R&D systems to full-scale operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Physics or Biotech Automation, and 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Architect, Software Developer, Application Developer or Development Operations Engineer. Experience must include C# or Java programming languages and familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
