Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning (Vision)

Summary Description:

Syntiant Corp., a leader in the high-growth AI software and semiconductor solutions space, is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer to take on a critical role with expansive responsibilities in the Machine Learning team.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own and train computer vision models to run on edge devices.  You will be responsible for ensuring the models run to spec and meet the customer needs.  Ultimately, you will get the opportunity to apply machine learning in real world applications and see your work driving the latest edge AI devices.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years developing and deploying ML models for vision applications.
• Strong C++ and Python experience.
• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience working in large, complex codebases.
• Experience with Embedded Linux.
• U.S Citizen with security clearance or ability to get one preferred, but not required.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting base pay for this role is targeted to be between $160,000 - $200,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Syntiant, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
