Develop tools for autonomous driving simulation, including front-end and back-end components, ensuring usability and performance evaluation.

The Simulation Scenario Frameworks team at Zoox is looking for a full-stack engineer to enable and extend authoring of challenging real-world driving scenarios
In this role, you will:
- Develop autonomous driving simulation scenario tools to author, inspect, and evaluate the performance of autonomous driving software.
- Extend a web-based front-end for 3D graphical definition of detailed autonomous driving simulation scenarios.
- Extend a web back-end to interact with simulation and autonomous driving software.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of industry experience, with proficiency in TypeScript and Python
- Experience developing web user interfaces (UI / UX)
- Excellent communication skills
- A BS in Computer Science or related field
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in C++ development
- Experience with modern web development frameworks such as Vue, Three.js, React
- Experience with simulation, game development, robotics or autonomous vehicles
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $203,000 - $293,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
