About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at DeepSky, you will deeply understand enterprise automation problems and create a best-in-class product that empowers non-technical users to leverage AI. Additionally, as one of our earliest engineers, you will collaborate directly with the leadership team often. You’ll also have the opportunity to help build out the engineering team and have a large hand in shaping the team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Drive projects end-to-end, from scoping and design to implementation and rollout

  • Design and build delightful user-facing products from the ground up, including working hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of DeepSky technology, from demos to proofs of concept to full productionization

  • Collaborate closely with leadership, applied scientists, and other engineers to ensure alignment on decisions

  • Stay up-to-date with the AI landscape and technologies, ensuring we are using the best tool at hand for our platform

  • Help uplevel the engineering team and shape culture and technical best practices

Qualifications
  • Have 4+ years of full-time software engineering experience in a production environment

  • Are experienced with web development and fluent with React, Typescript, and Python

  • Can leverage the latest generative AI techniques (prompt engineering, RAG, and more)

  • Are excited about working at an early stage startup and building products from 0 to 1, and have experience doing so

  • Are interested in exploring ways to harness AI to disrupt industries and working directly with customers to identify new product innovations

Pay Range and Compensation Package

In consideration of market analysis and relevant factors, the salary range for this position is set between $180,000 and $260,000. However, adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program.
