Senior Software Engineer

Coval is a platform for simulating and evaluating voice and chat agents. We've raised a $XXM seed round (TBA), 10x’d our revenue in just 2 months and have strong customer demand for automated agent testing. To accelerate our growth, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and shape our core product.

No one's sure what an agentic future will look like. But we're certain AI agents are here to stay. And Coval will be the infrastructure that powers that. 

Today, anyone can build and deploy an AI agent. While the first wave of AI agents is already delighting customers, creating reliable agents is becoming a growing challenge for companies. As AI adoption accelerates, one thing is clear: testing and reliability are more critical than ever.

Coval is the tool that empowers companies to not only create agents that delight and support customers but also deploy them with confidence, knowing they’ll perform reliably in production. This is just the beginning of the AI-agent era. Evaluation infrastructure will massively shape it. There is no question if, it’s who and when, and Coval aims to be THE agentic testing platform.

• You’ll collaborate closely with customers, guiding them through onboarding, understanding their unique needs, and using their feedback to shape and refine our platform.

• We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes full ownership of their work, and knows how to balance priorities effectively.

• You’ll often find yourself tackling features with minimal specs or making UX decisions on the fly—perfect if you enjoy figuring things out and taking initiative.

• Most importantly, we want this to feel like your baby — a place where your ideas, ownership, and impact truly matter.

• You’re comfortable with our Tech-stack: NextJS, Typescript, Python

• You have a background in infrastructure engineering

• You have prior startup experience

• Bonus: You have a strong intuition about what today’s LLMs can do and where they’ll go next, and you’re excited to build solutions that scale with the evolution of these models.
