Most engineering jobs give you technical challenges. Few give you the chance to change how entire industries operate. This role is perfect for an engineer who thrives on tough technical problems and has the curiosity to understand why the problem matters to the business.
Responsibilities
- Engineer at Scale: Architect systems to manage large volumes of files (multi-gigabyte, multi-jurisdiction, multi-user).
- Bridge Tech & Business: Translate dense, evolving regulations into workflows that businesses can actually use.
- Build with Intelligence: Apply machine learning and LLMs to unlock insights from complex content and automate compliance.
- Think Beyond Code: Partner with product and business experts to design solutions with real-world impact.
- Innovate in Methods: Use agentic software development to create adaptive systems that evolve alongside changing regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience building scalable systems that deal with high data volumes and complex business rules.
- Comfort with cloud-native distributed systems and performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of ML and LLMs, plus curiosity to explore their application.
- Ability (and desire) to go beyond “just coding”—to ask why, understand the business drivers, and shape smarter solutions.
- Bonus: exposure to regulated industries like healthcare, finance, or life sciences.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your work
Why You’ll Love It
- Impact: Your work directly influences how companies navigate complexity, save time, and reduce risk.
- Challenge + Purpose: A rare mix of hard engineering problems and meaningful business outcomes.
- Growth: Exposure to business strategy, operations, and AI innovation—expanding your skillset beyond pure tech.
- Team: A culture that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and ownership.
If you’re an engineer who asks not only “How do we build this?” but also “Why does this matter for the business?” — you’ll thrive here.
