Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to work in the Payments Network group with strong experience in Go Lang and is a good team player.
Role• Work cross functionally to build and design scalable solutions, systems, and databases, as well as exercising creativity in architecting new product ideas• Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and architectural decision making• Contribute to the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing applications• Meet with business partners to understand business needs• Contribute to overall solution design• Responsible for build and test of applications• Conduct root cause analysis and complex performance tuning
All About you:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.• At least 7 years' experience in software engineering• At least 2 years' experience with Go• Experience with Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development methodologies• Familiarity with creating and maintaining containerized application deployments with a platform like Docker• Experience with protocol buffers and gRPC• Experience with Python 3.8 or higher desirable.• Proven experience (2 years) building and maintaining data-intensive APIs using a RESTful approach• Experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible/Chef• Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, etc.• Experience on Linux platform• Agile delivery experience
