Senior Engineer - Full Stack - San Francisco - In person required.
About Liminl
Liminl helps people get the job they want through the network they actually have. We're building the graph and AI sequencing layer that turns who you know into a path to where you want to go. Pre-seed funded, beta launching to users in the next few weeks.
About the role
This is an early hire at Liminl. You'd be the first full-time engineer, working directly with the founders to take the product from beta to something people use every day. The early architecture is built by a contracted team and you'd own it from here forward, shaping every technical decision as we grow.
Tech stack
- React / Next.js
- Node.js
- TypeScript
- Neo4j
- PostgreSQL
Responsibilities
- Own the full codebase across frontend, backend, and data layer
- Build and refine graph algorithms that turn relationship data into actionable paths
- Develop AI sequencing logic that decides who users should talk to and when
- Design onboarding flows that make a complex product feel obvious
- Build email and calendar integrations
- Shape the conversational AI layer that becomes the way users experience the product
- Set technical direction and quality bar as the team grows
Qualifications
- Experience shipping consumer products end to end, not features inside someone else's roadmap
- Fluency in TypeScript and modern React/Next.js
- Bonus: experience with graph databases like Neo4j. If not, you're someone who learns new data models quickly.
- Experience inheriting and improving existing codebases
- Ability to operate without a PM and hold opinions on product, not just code
Compensation: $150k-190k + meaningful early-stage equity. Specifics discussed in the conversation.
Location: San Francisco, in person. The whole point of this role is being in the room with the founders.
How to apply: Email Nicole directly at [email protected]. Include a link to something you've shipped and tell me what you'd bring to Liminl that someone else wouldn't. Don't apply through LinkedIn or job boards. I read every email.
