NVIDIA has been redefining computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years! It's an outstanding legacy of innovation that's fueled by phenomenal technology—and outstanding people! As part of NVIDIA's applied AI team, you will have the opportunity to lead a team at the intersection of research, engineering, and product development, transforming innovative ideas and research breakthroughs into real-world solutions. If you're enthusiastic about guiding top teams in brand new technologies crafting generative AI, this role presents a prime chance for innovation.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage and grow a team building agentic AI solutions, including sophisticated coding agents, custom skills/tools, and their integration with enterprise production systems for chip design workflows.

  • Provide technical direction and strategic leadership in the design, development, and deployment of AI applications using LLMs, agentic systems, and related technologies.

  • Drive model customization and post-training — including fine-tuning, RL, and instruction/skill tuning — to adapt LLMs for chip-design coding, debugging, and reasoning tasks.

  • Oversee development of retrieval and generation algorithms for enterprise data (text, code, waveforms, and images) to support advanced AI use cases across EDA and hardware engineering.

  • Partner closely with engineering, research, and product teams to deliver LLM-powered solutions for engineering assistants and multi-turn, multi-modal dialogue systems.

  • Ensure high technical standards and drive operational excellence across AI application development efforts, including evaluation frameworks, safety guardrails, and production monitoring of agent behavior.

  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in ML/AI and ensure your team adopts the most effective techniques and tools.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture while mentoring team members and supporting their career growth.

What We Need to See:

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 12+ years of industry experience overall, including 5+ years in technical leadership or managing software/AI teams.

  • A track record of leading teams that build ML/AI systems, with hands-on exposure to post-training LLMs and agentic systems.

  • Deep technical foundations in software engineering — especially Python, data structures, and large-scale system design.

  • Strong people-leadership instincts: mentoring, coaching, and building teams that consistently perform at a high level.

  • A history of steering cross-functional efforts and shipping production-grade AI applications.

  • A hands-on leader who moves fluidly between strategic direction and deep technical execution.
