Ready to be a Titan?

You will be part of the Identity and User Management (IUM) engineering team at ServiceTitan. We are the architects of the "Front Door" to our platform, responsible for the secure authentication and seamless authorization of over 50,000 daily users. We provide exciting opportunities to make an immediate impact in a high-security, high-scale environment.

As we pivot toward an AI-first engineering culture, we are looking for forward-thinking SDETs who see AI as a force multiplier. We need engineers who can leverage AI testing tools to achieve 10x productivity, ensuring our identity flows are not only reliable and performant but also capable of scaling at the speed of our global ambitions. We utilize the Cypress framework and are targeting engineers with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript who are eager to innovate at the intersection of Identity, Security, and Artificial Intelligence.

What you’ll do:
  • Identity-First Automation: Evaluate and implement AI-powered testing tools (e.g., self-healing tests, automated visual regression, or AI-generated test scripts) to secure complex identity and profile management flows.

  • Strategic Auth Testing: Work closely with Engineers and Product Managers to build comprehensive test strategies for AuthN/AuthZ scenarios, utilizing AI to identify edge cases, security vulnerabilities, and session integrity risks.

  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, utilizing AI-driven analytics to monitor test results, predict failures, and accelerate the triage of flaky tests in our Token Server and MFE ecosystem.

  • Framework Evolution: Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools and methodologies, specifically looking for opportunities to automate manual integration "handshakes" and identity-onboarding bottlenecks.

  • Collaborative Quality: Partner with developers to understand product architecture and establish unit/integration strategies that balance rapid iteration with high security and quality expectations.

What you’ll bring:
  • Modern Tooling Proficiency: Strong experience utilizing Cypress for end-to-end testing of web applications, paired with deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Identity Domain Expertise: Significant experience with Authentication (AuthN) and Authorization (AuthZ) protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) is a huge plus.

  • AI Testing Experience: Hands-on experience (or a strong, demonstrated interest) in utilizing AI-augmented testing platforms (e.g., Applitools, Mabl, Testim, or GitHub Copilot for Test) to accelerate the SDLC.

  • Core Engineering Skills: Experience with object-oriented programming (C# or Java a plus) and developing automation for business objects independent of the UI.

  • Framework Mindset: Ability to build tests from scratch while considering the long-term effects of framework changes and upgrades.

  • Technical Depth: Good knowledge of SQL (MS-SQL preferred), version control (Git), and third-party API integration.

  • Ambiguity Navigator: Self-motivated and able to handle periods of uncertainty; you know when to seek guidance and how to react well to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment.

Be Human With Us:

Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list. It’s about the experiences we have, people we meet, and the perspectives we share. So, if you have the skills but are hesitant to apply because of your background, apply anyway. We need amazing people like you to help us challenge the conventional and think differently about the problems that we’re solving. We’re in this together. Come be human, with us.
Use of AI Technology:

We use technology, including automated and AI-assisted tools, to support certain aspects of our recruitment process. These tools are designed to improve efficiency and enhance the candidate experience. AI tools are not used to make hiring decisions; all hiring decisions are made by our hiring teams.

What We Offer:

  • Flextime, recognition, and support for autonomous work: Flexible time off with ample learning and development opportunities to continue growing your career. We offer a comprehensive onboarding program, leadership training for Titans at all levels, and other programs and events. Great work is rewarded through Bonusly, peer-nominated awards, and more.

  • Holistic health and wellness benefits: Company-paid medical, dental, and vision (with 100% employer paid options and 90% coverage for dependents), FSA and HSA, 401k match, and telehealth options including memberships to One Medical.

  • Support for Titans at all stages of life: Parental leave and support, up to $20k in fertility services (i.e. IUI and IVF), surrogacy, and adoption reimbursement, on demand maternity support through Maven Maternity, free breast milk shipping through Maven Milk, pet insurance, legal advisory services, financial planning tools, and more.
