The Senior Solution Architect manages client projects, oversees implementation strategies, ensures quality solutions, and maintains client relationships while guiding the team and managing project tasks.
The Sr. Solution Architect is responsible for managing client projects through and through and assisting the Practice Director with the day-to-day project oversite and management of the team. They will collaborate with clients on the implementation strategy for the solutions delivered by their team. The Sr. Solution Architect ensures the solution architecture and design is efficient, secure, and cost-effective to best achieve client-defined results. They are accountable for project oversite and leading other team members to ensure successful implementations and excellent customer service is provided during and post implementation. This individual will also serve as subject matter expert for their team as well as act as an advisor or delivery lead throughout the duration of a project lifecycle.

- Understands client's needs to design, develop and deploy appropriate and reliable solutions
- Perform business process reviews to identify and advise on best practices to use, implement or enhance a solution.
- Work closely with the Practice Director to ensure projects have a successful kickoff and ongoing project management including determining and monitoring client vs RKL tasks; documenting requirements; managing budgets and project scope; creating and maintaining detailed project plans, deliverables lists, and test logs; and project status meetings and reporting.
- Lead client delivery activities with assigned accounts, including discovery session and requirements gathering to fully understand business needs.
- Act as subject matter expert providing best-practice guidance on financial business processes and implementation approaches for client and their team.
- Assist Director with performance management – establishing goals, coaching and development, conducting performance evaluation, addressing disciplinary action etc.
- Develop short and long-term goals with the ability to execute effectively
- Actively participate in preparing, modifying and reviewing statements of work
- Manage schedule by demonstrating effective time management skills
- Actively listen to team members to understand their needs; respond to requests in a timely- manner; provide appropriate resolution of conflicts.
- Support eSolutions leadership and Human Resources with staffing; participating in interviews; giving feedback as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality with external client information as well as internal employee and firm information.
- Manage and assist clients through proactive contact with prompt resolutions.
- Check deliverables of vendor partners to make sure they are fit-for-purpose and guide and coach teams as necessary.
- Build and maintain client relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
- Follow and lead others to follow set company processes, guidelines and framework
- Participate in sales and marketing activities as needed

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field
- 7+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect within enterprise resource planning and/or professional services firm
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Certification based on product requirement
- Strong project management background including experience in working in a Project Management tool (e.g. Smartsheet)
- In depth ERP or FP&A knowledge, including various modules, technical and operational processes.
- General accounting knowledge and understanding of basic principles (AP, AR, GL etc.).
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external customers as needed
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required
